But I see no similarity between the atrocious Playful Kiss ML and...basically anyone else....unless we're talking about Yong Jie from HIStory4.

The horrific lack of consent showcased under the guise of forbidden love in HIStory4: Close to You and the ensuing firestorm of rabidly supportive comments on its MDL page was almost more than I could stand. But I do think that things are changing, even if very slowly, and with lots of backward steps.

I first saw him in the Taiwanese drama Just You, but he was also great in Les Miserables (Japanese.) His language abilities are phenomenal and I wish I could watch him in an English show.
I liked it, generally, but I knew just about everything that would happen because it's a remake of Dangerous Liaisons, (which has been remade many, many times around the world) and because I really love Woo Do Hwan (swoon). :-) So yes, there were some things they could have portrayed better, but all in all it was an ok watch. I REALLY liked the OST, though - it was classical music with a Korean twist.

Good question. I'm pretty tired of K-drama rom-coms, especially really cliched ones, (much preferring quirky J-dramas) and so it takes a really interesting premise to draw me back in to a standard K-rom. But I do love romance, (and art) and the right combination of plot, character, actors I like, and the right amount of artsy quirkiness can sway me.
Has it been subbed? If so, then yes! (And if it's been subbed - into English - where can we see it?) I really like Kamio Fuju and not just for his ridiculously pretty face - he's a great actor! :-)
This looks good and if it gets subbed I would watch it. (A random and off-topic observation though - when trailers are sideways like so many on this site are, it's hard to see them...)
