no necessarily although it might help you understand some of the scene since they have reference from the previous series. i only watched like first half of the ROTCH but drop it lol and i completed forgot anything about it except wishing that i looked like liu yifei hahaha

rewatch this again and i marathoned it for 2 days lol. such a great drama, did not skip any scene despite rewatching it

i stopped at ep 32. i pulled my hair and rolled my eyes several times while watching this drama.
