I think they made the preview look like that on purpose. The moment Kinn reaches out to help Porsche, Porsche steps forward to talk to the guy. That would be super funny to see Kinn's face. At least that's strongly my guess. I've seen a picture where Porsche is standing closer to the guy with the gun to calm him down. But that only makes sense if it happens after the scene shown in the preview, because they are surprised by the guy there. So I'm very sure that Porsche gets shot. Otherwise, any further action, such as the scene where they are both on the run and Porsche gets a fever, would also be ruined.
They probably created a role for him because he was gonna play Tawan with the previous company
