don't know what you expected? it was communicated that they won't give us a episode (because they can't) and this will be a extra and nothing produced with high budget... it was just for fun and to show us that they think about us. you shouldn't see it as a episode. it was just a special to give us something. we can be glad that they made the effort to do something for us at all. other casts wouldn't do it.
I would like to know why they changed these events in the series: 1. Porsche is exactly his type according to Kinn's friend, which he is not at all in the novel. 2. Porsche taking Kinn's watch instead of Kinn offering it. 3. the fight scene on the boat. 4. In the series Kinn seems to be the better fighter and stronger than Porsche. But in the novel (don't know why) but I thought Porsche is the better fighter and just a submissive in bed because Kinn is more dominant.
I suspect myself that it's supposed to add some dynamic to the whole thing. Especially point 1 I guess, makes it easy to take the series in a certain direction, while in the novel of course there is more time for that.
Especially point 3 I think is great. The scene really has something special and shows Kinn's fighting superiority as well as Porsche's unwillingness to be his bodyguard, although he is even threatened with a gun.
It shouldn't surprise you that Porsche acts very childish in the second episode. I wouldn't feel comfortable either if I had to do something that I completely disliked, he was in an environment whose actions he detested and was surrounded only by people who didn't like him.
why so low rating? I am confusedI haven't started watching it tho
don't pay MDL rating's any attention. Don't know why it's so low I've read some deep shit here but believe me when I say watch this drama. Everyone one tiktok, twitter and here isn't hyping it for no reason. Ratings on other sides are much better and mean much more.
Every time I watch a interview I think Apo is the perfect Actor for Porsche. He gives me so much Porsche vibes lol. He is always so funny, hyped and looks like the guy you want to hang out with. Mile looks always elegant, nice and cool and is sometimes shy. When I saw him I thought he would be Porsche, but then I saw the first trailer and thought nobody could ever be better for for the role as Kinn than him. I think the cast hit the jackpot when they chose both actors for the roles.
Well, I have to admit that so far I like the TV show more than the novel. Since the novel is a bit more humorous in the beginning and gets darker afterwards, I'm pretty sure that the series will also get darker, but still have some humor. So it's the perfect combination.
I like kinn in the TV show more than in the novel. Porsche seems pretty much the same to be honest. Maybe that will change with more episodes though.
Can anyone recommend BL dramas that are a must watch?
These series / movies suit my taste: - Addicted (Chinese drama) - Uncontrolled Love (Chinese movie, part 1 and 2) - Advance Braverly (Chinese drama) - A Rouen trip to love (Chinese drama)
That all of them are Chinese is just a coincidence.
I have always started many BL dramas, but many could not convince me, because I either found the storyline too boring, the acting talent was missing or it was pulled too much into ridiculousness.
I also like some fire, AlphaxAlpha or at least that one is very dominant. And very much like Enemies to Lovers.
(these clips are from the old production but their chemistry is on point)
