Ah thats okay then haha! We're both new. I watched quite a bit of anime, you could look at my MAL but it seems that it's down at the moment. I'm about to hit 100 animes completed.

Ohright, maybe you can go the year after or just when you're free haha. Take a break sometime! What are you studying in University?
The salesman will become rich and you'll become broke haha!
It'll take me a long time to finish them because I normally watch one j-drama episode per day! I like taking drama's easy^^
I'm open to anything. If I like the tune, I'll like it haha. I listen to a lot of hardcore, pop punk and screamo but with J-rock, I'm totally open to anything.
I think it's fine living here, we have everything. There are halal shops everywhere! Eating Japan was a challenge indeed. I'm afraid we ate a lot of Family Mart food (you'll find these everywhere). We ate Japanese pot noodles and they fill you up! We also had rice balls and such. We did out a couple of times such as sushi and udon without meat. Luckily for us, the hotel we stayed in had a halal Indian shop right next to it. We would go there every couple of nights to eat. It's mostly Family Mart food I'm afraid unless you can find alternatives. You also McDonalds and pizza shops^^

Nice nice! I'd go during late March early April. Thats when the cherry blossoms bloom. If you go to Akihabara, you'll find all your anime goods. I bought a ton of anime goods from there. Theres loads of shops to choose from too.
Thanks for the recommendations! I'll probably try them out after I've finished the current one I'm watching^^ I've realised that k-drama's are so much longer than j-drama's, are they all like that?
Haha I was exactly the same! Since I started watching drama, I'm only watching the airing animes but that's still like 8 of them. Too much shows, so little time.
I've only listened to anime openings. I really want to venture down the j-rock route but I don't know where to start haha. I've realised that you're a muslim! I'm a British Muslim^^

You should go for it! The flight there was a little expensive but hey, it's so worth it! I mainly stayed in Tokyo and travelled around the surrounding places. I went to Kyoto and stayed there for 1 night. Tokyo is an amazing place, there's so much to do. Examples are Tokyo Skytree, Shibuya, Asakusa and so much more. Akihabara was one of my hightlights, so much anime good haha! I spent a lot when I got there^^ I really wanted to go to Hokkaido. It looks amazing there so I think you should go! You can then tell me how it was haha. I recommend Kyoto. It's packed with temples, shrines and nice places to walk. There are some really nice sights you could check out. I also recommend staying at a Ryokan if you go there to get the real feel^^
Could you recommend me some k-dramas looking at my list? I'm not a fan of romance I'm a afraid so anything but that.
You said, no time to watch everything. I find it hard balancing my anime, drama and work life. I've been meaning to watch them but I never had the time, I'll definitely try and watch them soon!

You said it! I actually went to Japan haha! I agree, I like how every episode is also different. Mushishi will always be up there on my favourite animes. I'll always remember the rainbow episode^^ I haven't watched any Korean dramas, I'd like to start but I'm not sure where. I probably need to watch more J-drama as I've only watched a handful. I'm a huge fan of comedy, mystery and school dramas. You've made me happy asking me that question because I love recommending people anime. Some of my favourites are Ghost in the Shell series, Gintama (has about 300 episodes but it's pure comedy gold with some series arcs), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, K-on! (both seasons and movie), Natsume Yuujinchou (You'll love this, it has the same Mushishi feel dealing with spirits), Steins;Gate, Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (best movie), Usagi Drop, Kimi to Boku and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. Theres quiet a bit there haha!

It's alright^^ sorry for accepting so late, I was actually on holiday haha. You got it right, it's Ginko! I'm a huge Mushishi and One Piece fan. Ace was my favourite too :(
One word, amazing. It was intense and the geographic point of going from one place to the next was great. The cast was perfect and if I could think of all the positive words, I'd say them. Instant favourite.

When you have enough money, just go go go haha. It'll be worth it! Where do you plan on going first, Japan or South Korea?
I've got a couple of recommendations! I've seen that MR. BRAIN and 11nin mo iru! is on your PTW list. I highly recommend both, MR. BRAIN is a comedy/ mystery. It's really clever how they solve the crimes. I've just finished 11nin mo iru and it's one the funniest shows I have watched. Each episode will have you laughing really hard. Another one is Tokyo Dogs. It's a comedy police show with serious moments but thats one of my favourite too^^! Best duo too!
Did you pick up Korean easily from watching dramas and listening to music? I've added Pika*nchi Life Is Hard Dakedo Happy^^ looks interesting, the other one, I'll have a think about it haha. Thanks for the recommendations though!
Definitely one of the funniest drama I have seen! Each episode didn't fall short on making me laugh. I could re-watch this easily and still laugh as much as I did the first time.

Ah yeah, you should totally go in the future! Nice, could you recommend me some if you watch any really good ones^^ I'm looking to shorten it too. Next month, I'm going to watch as much as I can because the days are getting longer haha. I've only started watching J-drama so I may watch more until I give K-drama a go. It'll be like starting to learn a new language, I know a bit of Japanese from watching anime and J-drama so K-drama would be a whole new thing for me. I see, I'll give it a go soon. School drama's are a favourite of mine so I'll put it on the list^^

Haha don't worry about it! I've just been working and saving up money for Japan. No going out so that sucks haha. <br />I'm the same and it could be said for most people, I always add stuff but then I find newer stuff but I'm going to try my best to watch most things on my PTW list. Ah J-drama is the best even though I haven't checked out K-drama. Any reason you stopped watching it? I'm guessing you prefer K-drama? I need to watch Gokusen, I've avoided it because it's a bit old but I should check it out^^! Sure, that would be great!
I finished this within 2 days so in other terms, it was amazing (also because it had 8 episodes). It normally takes me about a week to finish a normal drama because I like taking it easy when I watch drama but this one had me hooked from episode 1. I loved Kimura Takuya's random outbursts of laughter.
First J-drama I watched and what a way to start the journey. This will always be one of my favourites. The comedy, the facial expressions, the cast and the ending, everything was perfect for me. Oh, and the pudding. I definitely need to re-watch it sometime soon.
Not normally a drama I'd watch but after seeing it being so highly rated, I decided to watch it and I'm glad I did. It has a lot of heart-warming scenes and I like how it's set in the countryside of Japan. A lot of memorable characters.
The salesman will become rich and you'll become broke haha!
