Some had been good since they are directed by queer directors, who know what lgbtq+ is. However, most are just bad and trash. They thought being gay is being horny 24/7. BFFR?! Moreover, many will still watch those since whether they like it or not, the BL community is full of fetishizers (you know, those who defend that they don't see any BL fan fetishizing because they wanted to hide the fact that they are part of it.) And the funny thing is, they will defend those series passionately like their life depends on it. The "It's Fiction" and the"Then, don't watch it" common lines.

I mean I will watch that eventually as well. I want to experience first hand its appeal. Yeah, as you said there is no plot, but still I will watch that to board on with the trend lol. With that being said, even if there is no plot, I hope they are still willing to accept those feedback and actually grow up, and also instill in there minds that we can watch and like a show whether it's good or not, expected that not everyone will like it. Yup. That is also the reason why I left the KPOP fandom. Though I didn't officially leave since I still listen to new releases, but unlike before I have less interaction now with the KPOP fandom. They are one of the toxic fandoms out there, and we all know that not all songs fit each of our tastes. Therefore, some fans may not like a group's comeback due to their concept or perhaps the song lineup at that time. The thing is when someone pitches their opinions of why they don't like those songs, you're right, they will call you a fake fan and will attack you aggressively, even if that someone stated their opinion respectfully and with a constructive viewpoint. And BL fans, have been always like that. Like please, haven't you learned that at school or in any literature course or subject? English? Like critique is one of the most important elements in any literary work. Of course, it's not only limited or restricted to readable materials but also watchable ones too.

This is not targeting The Eclipse series because I can tell y'all how much I love this show and fandom with all my heart. And finally, I got to see something that has representation without completely removing the social issues just for the sake of happy gay; treating it like it was non-existent from the start. Don't get me wrong, I also love me some gay shows wherein homophobia doesn't exist, like it is some type of parallel universe. However, why do other BL Fans in some shows become so defensive when others are critiquing the show because of the flaws it has? I really hate the "if you don't like it, then don't watch it" statement. Why are we all just gonna pretend that the show is not bad just because they are your favorite actors? How can BL entertainment improve, if most watchers have those bs mindsets? Like this one particular BL show that is currently trending right now, where it's full of defensive fans in the comments. You just state a constructive criticism and they be holding you like you're at gunpoint? This is the reason why I don't join fandoms that are heavily sexual since those types of fans flock to that show. Like, let people have an opinion bro. I get it, some are just unnecessarily throwing hate, but in those shows I have seen, most criticisms are well-constructed with pieces of evidence presented why they don't like it (mind you, with a tone of respect), and still, the comments are fuming with immaturity. That's why other watchers on those shows are also scared to share their opinions in those comment sections. And, yup, you know what finished and current airing shows have those fandoms.

Anyways. I'm sorry if this was not somewhat related to The Eclipse. I'm just really also happy that I found a fandom where it can accept positive and negative feedback. I can really conclude that people here are the more aware ones. This is like my safe space hahahahhah. Well, maybe one avid of that fandom may see this here, and snitch me on those shows. I will expect that.

I was in slumber on BLs for many months now. We all know there have been many BLs released this year, and unlike in the past when I always got excited whenever there is something new; always eager to tune in, now I lack even the energy to watch the new BL trailers. Well, there was one exception though. I got hyped by KinnPorsche, and while it was still airing I was a dedicated watcher, yet as the episode progressed, it lost its flavor to me. I'm not writing a long critique on KinnPorsche here, but you'll get what I mean later. As more BL were airing those months and people are constantly hyping it up for its reasons, it felt to me that some of those shows didn't live up to their hype. (I'm basing on the trailers btw) Reminder, this is not directed to KinnPorsche, but rather to some shows with repetitive plot lines. Well, there can be other hidden reasons though for some watchers, and it could be the intimate scenes itself (yes, they sell no matter how crap the story is). However I feel like those shows are just too common now, either cliche or tropey for a gay show. I mean it's time for a more realistic representation tbh, and I usually watch BLs now where they have that vibe to educate and represent, not just to capitalized. I mean the goal target audience is we the queers.

Then, I stumbled upon The Eclipse. I have heard about this last year, but I just ignored it because I thought it was just gonna be another cliche Thai BL school romance (didn't fully watch the trailer. oops). And, I'm also not following or stanning any of the actors. Lol, little did they know that in 2022 they're going to be my new biggest obsession. Back when The Eclipse was still not airing, from time to time I watch a few BLs like Bad Buddy that I believe is good, but sadly the problem is I'm not attached to any of its characters or the couple, unlike with Akk and Ayan right now where they have this strong grip on me HAHAHA. Well, everything about them just seems so right to me. Their chemistry mannnn. It's above the ceiling. No! Even surpassing the ceiling itself. There are a lot of actors who have good chemistry with their partners that I have seen actually, but I've never seen this kind of chemistry before imo. Watching this made me feel somewhat alive and I'm really happy that I watched something worth the time. Even though we still have no idea of the overall quality of the plot as it's still not complete. However, I'm invested in Akk and Ayan as well as First and Khao, so I, therefore, proclaim that I will have no regrets supporting this. Definitely!
