Unless it’s Shawshank redemption or godfather or something, I just like to see critical reviews coz there’s always something off from another perspective in the heap of monotonous 10 star reviews. Ok Is it Stockholm syndrome if in their love story, r@pe plays a big part in it? I’m genuinely curious and don’t come for me coz I know how you girls like to tussle.

I mean i myself am not fully comfortable with some of the things in this show but I’m trying to be as open as possible. it’s just a show at the end of the day and there are far worse things that are shown in some lesser known cinema. It’s just that bl is much more mainstream than ever before so now more and more ppl from all walks of life and age groups are exposed to it leading to controversies and more responsibility of the screenwriters and viewers alike.

Hope they are making a few reasonable changes here and there to make it less controversial idk I haven’t read the novel

One thing about this show that I’ve learnt till now is you have to leave most of your morals at the door because otherwise there’s no way of enjoying it, owing to quite a number of subjectively problematic stuff that surfaces/might surface in the future in it. ppl are allowed to feel their own way about these parts of the story as long as it’s not harming anybody and ppl are acknowledging it. wow lol Staning has really changed me for the better and for the worse😆
