Only romance part

For the first time, I would like to write about the acting before discussing the story. I was really surprised by Shin Hye Sun’s performance—she’s my favourite actress. I always enjoy watching her, but this time, she truly won my heart with her acting.

Since I’ve already watched the Chinese drama, I had higher expectations from the story. In Chinese dramas, the female lead usually delivered the baby, but here, the story ends with their togetherness.

As for the male lead, he was perfect. However, I couldn’t connect with the romance part. I always felt there was a man inside her, so the emotions between the two seemed fake. Everything else was good.

Both the parts' review

After watching both parts, I realized that it’s actually a well-written story. In the first part, I was irritated by Kil Chae’s character until the very end. She refused to accept that Yeon Joon loved someone else and kept interfering in his matters while disregarding Lee Jang Hyun’s emotions and sacrifices. In the end, she married another man, which frustrated me a lot.

The second part continued in flashback, just like the first. An old man in jail agreed to tell Jang Hyun’s story but wanted to know what had happened to him first. This led to another series of flashbacks, forming the core of the second season. One thing that confused me was whether the old man was actually narrating the story to someone or just recalling it in his mind. Additionally, I wasn’t sure if the events we, as viewers, watched were his narration or simply the director’s way of showing us the past.

The story seemed to have a happy ending, but it still felt incomplete. I expected it to conclude with the old man, bringing full closure to the narrative.

At the end, I want to conclude by appreciating the outstanding performances of Namkoong Min, Ahn Eun Jin, Lee Hak Joo, Lee Da In, Kim Yoon Woo, Park Kang Sub, and Kim Seo An. While the entire cast did well, they were the best. I also want to mention the actor who played the role of the Crown Prince—his performance was remarkable.

Nice one

She Would Never Know" was a nice drama. I really liked the chemistry between the leads and their romantic storyline. I also liked the acting of her ex. His character always seemed pitiful. On one hand, I felt that he suffered a lot and deserved something that was rightfully his. In the end, every character got what they deserved. Overall, it was a nice drama.

One can understand the story by watching only 18 episodes.

"A love story with a sad ending. The acting was good.
Without going into much detail, it’s about a girl and a boy. The girl saves the boy, and he falls in love with her. However, a tragedy strikes the girl’s life, and she ends up marrying her sister’s husband to take care of her nephew. The boy can't accept this and does everything he can to win her back. Unfortunately, nothing goes right."

Meaning less

A senseless story. The way it started seemed quite interesting, but then it turned out to be a phoosi patakha—all hype with no spark.

The male lead’s entry was top-notch—chivalrous and impressive. However, after he catches the female lead, his macho persona completely disappears. His character suddenly starts looking like an innocent, naive boy who surrenders all his strength in front of the enemy.

As for the ending—I have no words.

Mediocre

Two people are struggling to find their way and overcome their troubled pasts. One leaves home, while the other leaves the city. To distract themselves from their unpleasant pasts, they immerse themselves in work. Eventually, their paths cross, and they begin to enjoy each other's company, feeling happy, serene, and at peace. However, an incident occurs, and they work together to solve the mystery surrounding it. Surprisingly, the incident is linked to one of them. In the end, they live happily ever after.

This is a glimpse of the story.

The acting was good, but the story may not hold your attention due to the many dull subplots. Additionally, there is no romance between the main leads, which might leave some viewers disappointed.

Ending could have been better , rest is good.

"No Gain, No Beautiful" is a poignant love story that revolves around the challenges faced by the female protagonist, whose mother runs an orphanage. This commitment to caring for orphaned children often leaves the protagonist feeling neglected and upset, believing her mother prioritizes her obligations over their relationship.

The story takes a dark turn when the protagonist's father is murdered by the father of one of the foster children, which deeply affects her. In the aftermath, she leaves home to escape her painful memories. During her absence, her mother takes in another foster child, the male protagonist, who also carries the burden of a remorseful past.

The drama intricately weaves their destinies together, exploring themes of loss, love, and redemption. The narrative balances emotional depth with lighter moments, ensuring the story remains engaging.

Overall, I enjoyed the drama, particularly the blend of humor that complements the serious themes.

Review plus summary of the drama

A sweet love story about a boy and a girl who have been in love since their school days. A tragic accident occurs, separating them. Fifteen years later, they meet again, but she has forgotten him. Every time he sees her, he is reminded of the past. He hesitates to involve himself in her life, believing it’s better for her to move on, unaware of the painful past. However, when a similar event unfolds in front of her, she begins to recall fragments of her past. Gradually, more memories come back to her, and eventually, she remembers everything. She struggles to move past the trauma and, without saying goodbye, leaves him behind. However, she leaves a letter, asking for some time to heal before returning to him.

To know the ending, watch the drama!

Since it's a mini-drama, not many characters are introduced, but those who appear deliver excellent performances.

Same plot almost same dialogue ,however it has its flavour ...

I watched "I Am Not a Robot" many years ago, and though I had forgotten much of the drama, watching "A Robot in the Orange Orchard" brought back memories of its plot. It’s true that the theme, plot, characters, and even many of the dialogues are similar, but "A Robot in the Orange Orchard" has its own unique flavor. I’d like to appreciate the performances of both the main and supporting characters, as they gave their best. However, when it comes to deeply connecting with the protagonist’s character, the Korean version was stronger. This wasn’t due to the actors’ performances but rather an issue with the direction and the attempt to differentiate it from the Korean version. One scene I enjoyed was when the protagonist tries to communicate with his employer, unaware that he is actually his girlfriend's uncle. I’m not finding it boring, perhaps because I watched the Korean version so long ago.

Lovely

"Kahogona Wakadanna-sama no Amayakashi Kon" is one of the best J-dramas I've seen. It’s a lovely series where everything is just perfect – the acting, story, and background are all exceptional. The intense acting kept me completely engrossed in the lead characters' relationship. The male lead portrayed emotions like jealousy, romance, sadness, and happiness so flawlessly that I felt deeply connected to his character. Despite having a simple story with only a few characters and limited settings, the drama never became boring, not even for a second. I believe this is largely due to the outstanding performances of the actors. Although the story didn't have any major "wow" elements, it was still captivating. For those who enjoy love stories,I highly recommend it.
It’s a love story centered around a boy and a girl.

The beginning of the drama was slightly boring, but as the story progressed, certain elements, especially the chemistry between the leads, drew me in a bit. However, in the middle, the plot again derailed. In terms of enjoyment, the story had its ups and downs. Although it had a happy ending, it wasn't flawless.
Other than the main leads, I liked the acting of the two actors who were going to have a fake marriage with the main leads.

An average drama

'Present, is Present' is a time and space-based drama where a phone becomes a means to connect two different time periods: the past and the present. The phone, developed by the male protagonist's father, allows communication across two years. The father died trying to protect the phone from falling into the wrong hands, and the story begins with the protagonist trying to uncover the truth behind his father's death. In his quest for revenge, he finds himself unable to save his lover. To correct the past and prevent the same mistakes, he attempts to contact his lover from the past, urging her to resign from her job and go abroad. However, as the saying goes, 'Man proposes, God disposes.'While the concept of the drama is intriguing, the execution and direction are lacking. Up until the 8th episode, the drama held my interest, but it gradually became boring. The twist at the end revived some interest, but overall, the drama failed to be engaging. I found the chemistry between the second leads to be more compelling than that of the main leads."

There is no romance on the farm

"Players of the video game take on roles and complete tasks assigned to them. One such character is Li Man Er, played by the female lead, whose task was to collect 1000 taels of gold. To achieve this, she worked on a farm, made and sold wine, and roasted and sold groundnuts. Throughout her journey, she faced numerous hurdles and conspiracies. Her parents, brother, friend, and lover provided significant support.

As Li Man Er and her lover were about to reunite, she completed her task and returned to the real world. The question remains: did she meet her lover, who was also a player? The answer is ambiguous. The drama hinted at her lover's presence, seen only by her, leaving the audience to speculate about a possible second season to complete their love story.

I hope there will be a season 2, potentially related to the drama 'Boss and Me' in a different version.Despite the title 'Romance on the Farm,' there was little romance, and not many romantic scenes were included.

The first three episodes were comedic, but the drama became boring after that.I wish for a season 2 that truly explores the romantic elements hinted at in the first season."

Background song was good.

Familiar story

What I appreciated most was the acting of the male lead. His performance was too good, amazing, fantastic, and fabulous. I always think he deserves a big project.

The story was also compelling. It follows a girl who, in order to uncover the truth about her childhood buddy's death (a person who was going to be her husband and whom she respected as an older brother), marries a general because he is connected to her senior brother's death. Along this journey, many people die, but all were not good people; they had committed various wrongdoings, with some being heinous. Gradually, the truth is revealed, leading to a happy ending.
I wish the drama had ended by showing their marriage again, as well as their children.

Difficult to understand

What If" is a complicated drama that delves into the profound impact of choices on one's life. The female lead faces a pivotal decision: remain in her hometown or move to Shanghai to fulfill her dreams. The drama explores the consequences of each choice in a non-linear, multi-timeline narrative.

Synopsis Understanding:Initially, the protagonist decides against going to Shanghai and starts a family. Four years into her marriage, she has a beautiful son and is a homemaker while her husband is the sole breadwinner. One day, she follows her husband and sees him with another woman. This incident makes her wonder what would have happened if she had chosen to pursue her dreams in Shanghai.

Shanghai Scenario:The narrative then shifts to an alternate reality where she moves to Shanghai, starts her career, and maintains a relationship with her boyfriend. However, a tragedy in her boyfriend's family leads to misunderstandings and their eventual breakup. Her boss becomes a significant figure in her life during this time, providing support but also creating complications.

Parallel Timelines:From the 12th episode, the drama splits into two parallel timelines: one where she marries her boyfriend and leaves her job, and another where she continues her relationship with her boss. By the 17th episode, a third scenario is introduced, adding more complexity.

Key Events and Confusion:In the 9th episode, she returns to Shanghai after a breakup and her boss intimate with her . Later, in the 11th episode, she initiates a kiss with him, creating confusion because here her boss said to her you started first means this their first kiss so what was that in the 9th episode . This ambiguity suggests multiple timelines rather than a single linear story.

Themes and Reflection:"What If" highlights the importance of decision-making and its long-lasting impacts. It emphasizes that regrets are inevitable but one must focus on the present. The drama also underscores the necessity of compromise and understanding in relationships. In the married life timeline, the couple's mutual understanding and compromise lead to a happy ending.

Conclusion:In conclusion, "What If" is a thought-provoking drama that illustrates the complexities of life choices and relationships. It shows that while regrets are inevitable, embracing the present and maintaining strong relationships through compromise and understanding can lead to fulfillment.

Final Thoughts:We never get a second chance, so we need to think deeply before making decisions. Regrets will always be there, but we need to forget them and enjoy the present. Compromise and understanding are crucial in any relationship. The protagonist's married life succeeds because she and her husband understand and support each other.
