An average

The Legend of Zu is a 2018 drama that I watched in 2025. Naturally, over time, preferences change. If I compare it to the standards of 2018, it was a good story. However, the plot was stretched too much, making it feel a bit dull. The concept was interesting, but I still felt that something was missing. The ending was unsatisfying and seemed abrupt.

I watched the drama only because of the male lead; otherwise, I wouldn't have continued. Overall, I would say it’s an average story.

Average

Rainforest Passion is purely for entertainment—there's no logic, just drama. The story revolves around a boy whose brother was unfairly killed. Determined to find the culprit, he embarks on a journey of revenge. Meanwhile, a girl enters his life. She arrives in his city searching for her brother, and her brother, in turn, assigns the boy as her bodyguard. He agrees, believing that her father is the culprit. And thus, the story begins.

The drama mainly focuses on a love triangle and revenge. As for the acting, all the actors and actresses delivered good performances. However, the very last scene was quite ridiculous—he was cuffed so easily and then released just as effortlessly.

Overall, the story was average—nothing exceptional but entertaining enough.

Fine

"Fervent Kiss" was a short love story. The drama didn’t show much. To gain authority and power, uncle tries to kill his nephew. Amidst this, there is also a small revenge subplot. Other than that, as I mentioned, it’s a brief love story. I liked the acting of all the characters. Especially Zhong Si Huai, he did a great job.

Poster of drama is an illusion

I decided to watch this drama because of its intriguing poster. However, it turned out to have little to no romance—just brief glimpses of emotions related to love. The story mainly revolves around Jumong and Soh Seo No, focusing on how they built a new empire together.

The drama does not delve much into his romantic life. Although there were three women in his life, two of them left him for various reasons.

If the story is based on true events, I have no complaints. But if it is fictional, I wish it had included more romantic scenes.

Fine

The episodes are only three minutes long, so the story offers just a glimpse of desire, hope, and love. It revolves around a girl who has a long-time crush on her classmate, but her love remains one-sided. When she turns 27, she gets a chance to meet him again. However, after overhearing gossip, she mistakenly believes he already has a girlfriend. Heartbroken, she decides to leave the venue, but an unexpected incident sends her back to when she was 17. From that point, the story beautifully portrays a mix of emotions, including love, longing, and regret.

The Story didn't intriguing me

The story is about a face swap, but then how did she have a mole below her right eye? Anyways.
I didn't find anything interesting in the story. However, I liked the chemistry between the leads.
I also liked the acting. Otherwise, the story was quite common. There is a few romantic scenes which balanced the story.

Nice one

I liked the drama; however, two things confused me. First, who became the emperor—was it Geum or his older brother? Second, regarding the character Dong Yi, why didn't Cha Cheon Soo recognize her? He treated her as if he were meeting someone new.

Overall, it was a long drama. They could have cut short some parts that seemed boring.

Tried to potrait good quality in main character as compared to real story. And succeed

After watching the ending, I was very curious to know the actual story because I was not satisfied with how the drama concluded. I read Jang Ok Jung's real story from two or three sources.

In reality, she was a humble and kind person until the king noticed her. However, to keep everyone under her control, she crossed every limit. Her behavior stemmed from being constantly insulted for her low status. Eventually, she was ordered to take poison, and the king's affection for her faded completely.

In the drama, they changed her story by showing that the king's affection for her never diminished.

I didn't like this ending. Though I felt sympathy for her in the drama, knowing her real-life actions made me believe that the punishment she received was deserved.

I watched this drama only because of the male lead, and he truly nailed the role. His performance was absolutely amazing!

My only complain ,if it is fictional then why didn't give a satisfactory ending.

The drama mainly revolves around six characters: Yi Bang Won, "Sambong" Jung Do Jeon, Boon Yi, Ddang Sae/Lee Bang Ji (Boon Yi's brother), Mu Hyul, and Yi Seong Gye (Yi Bang Won's father).

Apart from them, there are equally important characters, some of whom have a sad ending.

I liked the story overall. However, I didn't like the sad ending of Yeon He and the incomplete love story between the leads.

Everything else was good. I especially liked Mu Hyul's acting the most.

If it is based on true story then I have no words

A king, known for his cruelty, crosses every limit under the excuse of uniting the world. In the end, he is left with nothing.

I decided to watch this drama solely because of the male lead. However, his character was cruel. Since I like the male lead, I always sought the good in his character, becoming biased and overlooking his wrongdoings.

From the beginning, the king made many mistakes. Since childhood, he loved a girl because she had saved his life. When he meets her again, he recalls that she saved him twice—she is his benefactor. However, his kindness toward her soon turns into an obsession. By any means—fair or foul—he wins her over and forces her to stay with him.

One day, he learns that she is carrying another man's child and tries to get rid of it. However, she threatens to take her own life if he does so. For her sake, he accepts the child. Over time, she begins to fall for him, touched by his kindness toward her and her child. But she doesn’t know what fate has in store for her.

If this story is based on real events, I have no words to comment. But if it is purely fictional, I am not at all happy with it. The story brings a tragic ending for all the main characters. Sorry for the spoiler. Also, I was not satisfied with the ending.

Lastly, I want to appreciate the female lead’s attire and hairstyle—both were amazing.

"Money Is Coming" is a 15-minute drama in which a girl experiences a sequence of moments from her past life, according to my understanding. She believes that these events will repeat in her present life, involving certain characters.

After watching two or three episodes, I realized that she enters the author's world and becomes an obstacle between the two leads. However, I found the beginning a bit confusing—perhaps because I don’t understand Chinese.

Despite that, I enjoyed some elements of the drama. First, the male lead—his ruthless expressions in the first three episodes, his innocent face, and the way he smiles slightly—all of these captivated me. His attire was also particularly impressive.

I didn’t like the ending much, but I would recommend this drama to those who enjoy romance.

Not for me

There are many reasons why I dislike the movie.
First and foremost, the songs. Since my mother tongue is Hindi, I couldn't connect with the songs, and that was one of the reasons for not liking them. Another reason is that the songs were from a very old era, and I had never heard such music before, making it difficult for me to enjoy them.

Secondly, I couldn’t connect with the tragic ending or the emotional love story between the male lead and the second female lead. The main reason is that the second female lead’s actions felt unjustifiable. She was well aware that he was her friend’s boyfriend, yet she crossed boundaries, which made it impossible for me to sympathize with her character. Moreover, the male lead also acted selfishly, which added to my disappointment.

Thirdly, what the female lead does in return to teach them a lesson crosses all limits. While it’s a movie, in reality, if a girl experiences such an emotional shock—where her best friend and her lover cheat on her—there are typically two outcomes: she either completely breaks down and never recovers, or she leaves them, moves on, and becomes emotionally distant. Additionally, she would probably learn never to trust anyone blindly again.

The story confused me about which character deserved my sympathy because all of them were at fault.
The only part that slightly touched me was the last scene when the male lead writes a letter asking for forgiveness. However, his words, "I don't love you," ruined all the emotions for me. Those words felt extremely harsh for the female character reading them, and it must have been devastating for her.

Overall, watching the movie felt like a waste of time for me.

A time waste

The story has nothing remarkable to offer; it's a poor narrative. I've already watched several stories with a similar theme, and this one lacks uniqueness. I would say, if you choose to watch it, be prepared to constantly hear the inner voice of the female protagonist. She talks to herself excessively, often creating misunderstandings without any valid reason."

Emotional one

The story revolves around a girl and a boy who fall in love during their college years. Their relationship blossoms beautifully, but it doesn’t last long as the girl decides to end it for reasons unknown to the boy. Years later, fate brings them together again—she is now a doctor, and he has become a cop. Their professions cross paths during a case, reigniting their connection. They attempt to reconcile, but the unresolved issues that led to their breakup resurface, creating tension in their lives. Eventually, they part ways again, yet their work keeps bringing them into contact.

The narrative combines elements of suspense, murder mystery, vengeance, and a heartwarming love story. While the plot has its moments of brilliance, the slow pacing and the female lead’s somewhat underwhelming performance might not appeal to everyone. However, the intertwining of professional conflicts with personal emotions keeps the audience intrigued.

Whole drama focussed on the main theme

The drama focused entirely on its main theme: finding a worthy king for the throne. On this path, four people come together with the male protagonist and help him achieve what he is destined for. The story remains centered on the theme, emphasizing the issues, hurdles, consequences, and results faced during their journey, with a slight touch of romance.

Kwon Yul delivered the standout performance, as his character experienced more ups and downs compared to the others. His portrayal of a pure and honest soul—restless in the face of injustice and sometimes almost losing control—was captivating. He bore all the hardships of life, hid his feelings, and always displayed a cheerful face, despite his struggles. His performance was truly fabulous.

Jung Il Woo, the first male lead, played the role of the crown prince and later the king. While he is known to be an amazing actor, his character was not as impactful as Kwon Yul’s. Despite having more screen time, Jung Il Woo’s performance was somewhat overshadowed by Kwon Yul’s.

The female lead, Go Ah Ra, started strong with her badass character, but after a few episodes, her role became more stereotypically feminine. As a result, her impact diminished in the later episodes.

I wouldn’t recommend this drama to those looking for romance, but it’s a good choice for viewers who enjoy a story with a clear focus on its central theme.
