This is actually not that bad. Despite all the cringe-y stuffs (which I usually hate to watch), I actually enjoy this series very much and manage to finish them back-to-back for 2 days.
One part I despise wholeheartedly in this drama is the need for the producers to include that slap scene. Is that really necessary? The day you raise your hand to a woman, that's the day you're officially no longer a man!
What I loved about this drama was that the pianist played the piano himself even though he is a rapper and the cellist also played himself - the musicians didn’t use doubles much. Some violin work too. Also the show understood music and music students and their stressful lifestyle. What I didn’t like was how long it took the plot to get going, nearly gave up. Congrats to Kim Min Jae for his piano playing, his first romantic lead. Koreans have an obsession with being tall, which doesn’t suit their slim, small boned frame. Better to be shorter, still have a cute face and be in proportion. I’m sure we will see more of him. Kim Sung Cheol also good, shame he lost out to the rich cold hearted girl, but he’ll be happier in the end. She could play violin though. Some seniors good too, the 3 professors. The charm of this was in the setting and the music and OST.
Victoria truly gets better with each project. Huang Xuan is impressive and is balancing the show's melodrama with a grounded performance. Yibo's character is v layered and I totally get why he chose this project bc his Baili Hongyi has been undergoing the most growth so far~---
So many things happened after their marriage that it's impossible for him to have feelings for her, but later when all the truth came out, I am sure he will start to like her in future episodes
if i received money for each time that Liu Ran has said "Erlang" in only 8 episodes, I would be rich by now and by the time the drama ends, a billionaire lol.
When all the prostitute's attacked Baili ....and baili's expression when he's running away from those girls is so cute...I can't stop laughing at that scene... ROFL
Initial episodes were great but towards the middle it gets boring This series has too many repetitions and close-ups of the first two surgeons. She's a terrible boss. He looks stupid. The theme of revenge is very trite. They could have found a better argument. The best scenes are with Kim Min Suk: he is a great artist with a lot of versatility. The series was extended without necessity: 14 episodes could have been enough.
The writer is smart to create that 3 mysteries in Gongjin that's leaves the audience in suspense for so long to continue to keep up with the show while creating back stories of other characters and get us attracted to Gongjin.
This drama has the best writing and best character development for most of the characters, Hyejin has the most character development.
Kim Seon Ho arranged his dual personality so well that he could show a dark and fearful Dushik and a loving and bright Hong Banjang.))))).Kim seon ho's dimples ❤️❤️
