I’m so happy that the theory that Pi‌o and Jung Yoo are siblings hasn’t been confirmed so far, and I don’t…

If I only have time to watch one season, which one should I watch? Season one or two?
Up to you, but watch season 2 and read recaps of season 1 (thereviewgeek.com has them in detail.)

Title Made in Korea Season 2 Spoiler
There are massive plot holes in episode 3 and 4. Why would the person holding the ledger be in Korea in the first place? He should be in Japan, with the ledger stored in a secret place. Nobody walks around with a ledger stored in a hotel’s safe, especially when it is about 70 billion korean won.

Secondly, how is it possible that a 4-star general unable to keep a 2-star general in check and is unaware of his actions? Surely he is not that dumb to not spy on his opponents.

The Baek Gi Tae was also not arrested by JIH alongside Cheon Seok Jung. I get that that is how the script writers want it to be, but his impending downfall see too unbelievable.

The timer for the bomb is also set way too long at 20 mins. If Baek Gi Tae can activate the timer remotely, surely he can detonate the bomb at will. Even if he cannot, setting it to 1 second would make it is instantaneous. He would have succeeded that way. The bomb is conveniently setup in a way that it cannot be stopped remotely, so that the variable of his brother being there can be inserted as a plot tension.

The acting is top tier, just not feeling this season? I don’t know.
I prefer S2 so far, but I need to finish it to form a full opinion...

Why are romcom lovers pissing on MIK in the comment section here😒. The love of Oppas can’t make you intelligent for sure. If your oppa has decided to star in a historical/period fiction piece and it’s indigestible to your sensibilities, don’t watch it. Wait for Oppa to get cast in a romcom to play a green flag who lets an aegyo-ing insufferable botoxed to the high heavens middle aged female lead troll the guy for 16 episodes. Wait for Oppa to come back to the genre.

Don’t come here and be a pissy 12 year old just cos the darkness of the source material for this story is making you uncomfortable. Jesus! MDL crowd can be a little juvenile in their lack of understanding of genres. I mean feel free to hate watch. But be a little intelligent about it. This show is not for intellectually juvenile or pop culture guzzling folks. It can’t be dumbed down for your sensibilities. History is dark. It’s not gonna suddenly give you a “black and white, saviour saves the day and bad guys loose, cos ironman showed up and justice was served” narrative. Some stories will supply that moral ease of good winning over evil. Some won’t. MIK is not trying to show good vs. evil. The underlying theme is motivations of humans who vie for nothing but unbridled power. And how power is the only currency. That’s the writer’s and show creator’s choice. Life on earth has never worked in a straight forward black and white way. Since the beginning of time. Otherwise Adam and Eve mythology would have just ended on them getting banished from the heavens.

i watched both episodes and didn't even feel the time passing, it was that good. i like the vibes and approach, it's not too heavy but it's not too silly either, it's balancing light funny moments with deeper more meaningful ones really well. it's nice to see how they resolved the tension between the ml and his assistant, reasonably and by making them talk like the grown up adults they're supposed to be

Title Four Hands, Two Sonatas Spoiler
Pi-O's father
Possible twist.
Pi-O's mum went out that night to see Pi-O's father. After listening to her worries about the competition, he took matters into his own hands.
Btw, we still don't know who Pi-O's father is, right?

While song kang acting has always been under scrutiny, he did really well in this. There are still some scene that could be improved like the confrontation scene after bio avoided jeongyo after their performance. But he definitely isn’t as bad as people make it to be.

I have no clue where this story is going and I totally love that. And I'm also afraid. OMG last time I was this anxious was probably when I watched Burried hearts. I came for Song Kang, I admit it, but I'm staying for the plot because what the hell is this? How did we come here? I mean, there were clues from the very beginning, so it's not like I'm surprised, we knew it was coming, but it was like... we know the concequences but not what caused them. Which is even worse. But as I already said, I totally love it

What if Jeong Yo survived and thinks that Bi O was the one who ordered the hit on him so he can win the competition. Maybe he's lurking around waiting for chance to take revenge on Bi O. Lol I'm thinking too much and making this "bromance" a thriller now. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.
