Also they actually showed a gay couple in one of the episodes, which I thought wasn't allowed because of censorship??I…
I like it that they portrayed the gay couple as people with real feelings. This is a much more progressive show than most Cdrama, and that's a good thing.
Definitely bittersweet, because Date lost Kade 500 years later (present day) and had to spend the rest of that lifetime as a monk. Also Kade never got to see her mother and grandmother again.
why is this not seen by many people its a great drama.
It's very popular and was Google's 3rd most searched TV show in the world (2018). It's famous on an international level, once you look outside of mydramalist.
I watched it so many times but I just noticed that they don't know how confession in Catholic Church looks like...…
Right. I noticed that when Kade visited, Mali's second son was just baby. Two years later, when Phaulkon was taken away for execution, the son was still a baby!
Maybe we watched it too many time... so much fun.

I might skip this one, too. Or watch in fastforward mode.
It won't happen, but one can dream.
Censorship is an unpredictable beast :)
The English sub on HBO max is impressive.
