Thanks, Regina. I remember your post. Emperor doesn't look guilty, but it's all an acting performance. Similar to Emperor in The Legend of Anle, who went off the rails.

The (love) triangle was officially drawn in episode 24. LOL Mei Lin is oblivious of her attraction to Yue Qin.

I was wondering why Mei Lin mentions the Undying Flower many times. Is it saying that their relationship will never die? Wa that the red fruit or flower that Jing He and she propagated in his garden? Why bother to create the triangle, JH, ML and YQ?

That scene was dull. At first I thought she was sharing the TEA with him. LOL It looked like she was dressed in her bridal outfit to follow him into the afterlife.

I have watched three or four dozen costume dramas, and I don't recall the emperor and concubine having such a big age gap. He looks 60, and she looks 15.

That was so silly. Her acting shows her youth and innocence.

I hope the production team read the feedback on the ending of Journey to Love and Double, and maybe a few more dramas that I can't remember the names.

Emperor needs more children? LOL

Does Emperor have other sons, or will his new affection for for Concubine Zi Gu produce the next heir?

Me, too! I could not watch the daily episodes since Wednesday. I bingewatched #19 to 24 today. The Xiyan kingdom is boring... the king, the shaman, Prince Yue Qin. Sister Zi Gu is chirpy. It would have been nice if Jing He had saved the Emperor, and married Mei Lin. The End.

LOL With four writers, the plot will most likely go off on tangents, and the one assigned to write the finale could have a different POV for the main couple.

Yue Qin looks like a pretty boring prince. I can't imagine him and Mei Lin having a fun time together. Coincidence that Prince Jing He is the governor of Qingzhou. I thought Jing He ended the relationship when he broke the pin, and sent Mei Lin far away. Now he started running in search of her, to give her the hairpin. If they run into each, Yue Qin will act jealous and possessive. Yue Qin reminds me of Journey to Love's Li Tong Guang.

I was bored with Crown Prince Xuan Lie's acting performance. I am glad he is out of the picture. It was sad when Eunuch was killed. Lou Mei serving the TEA was not dramatic. Aunty Concubine Yin should have been the one to serve the tea, I applauded when Xuan Lie's assistant was finally killed.

LOL! I glazed over their storyline.

You could say that I saw it coming. Emperor's scenes with her, and his scenes with Eunuch discussing her, were giveaway signs.

She also "dressed" the characters In Blossom.

I had a feeling Emperor was attracted to Little Miss during the earlier scenes.

I haven't watched the drama in four days, so it appears that I have missed some melodrama. I am surprised that CP is dead...so early in the game.

I noticed Loumei's change in demeanor immediately. The costume change must have done it.

They must be young daydreaming teenagers.
