Since there are thirty episodes, you think they could develop the Meng-Lin side love story, and give them a happy ending. The writer wrapped up Jiang Yang's story, and gave him a son. I have no recall of his wife, though. The son looked like he was five years' old.

LOL I wondered why they were talking with a perfect American or British accent. I didn't bother to look at their lip movements.

Those two hosts thought they were hosting a dating game show or the preshow of an awards show. Their commentaries throughout the drama were badly acted or written. I cringed every time they showed up on screen. The only positives were that they were pretty, and spoke perfect English.

True! I don't think there were any falling down drunk cringing characters in this drama. LOL

Meng Xiao Dong was my #1 favorite character. I agree that he is a cutie. I wish they had shown him and Lin Lin together at the end of the drama. I didn't know that Jiang Yang was married, until he was wearing the wedding ring in the final episode. His little son was too cute. I hope Wu Wei and Yin Guo's best friend Zheng Yi get together.

Meng Xiao Dong actor was the ML in Scent of Time. I remember when it released, but I did not watch it. I thought that Meng was too cute, so I will give Scent of Time a try. I hope the FL is good, as that usually deters me from watching a drama.

I downloaded the Brave browser a month ago, then deleted it. I'll try it again. I watch YouTube every day. The adblock app on my PC used to block all the YouTube ads for a few years. YouTube finally figured it out, and started to reject the Adblock app several months ago.

Those two sports announcers were very annoying with their sugary commentaries. Their employer needs to replace them. They had no business prying into Lin and Yin's personal business. It wasn't going to raise the ratings.

LOL This might be the fastest drama on record. They must be doing that to celebrate Valentine's Day in China.

She was acting like a 15 years' old around LYY ...(when she was 21). I guess there is a time jump in episode 19 or 20, since she looks and acts older. Watching her with the family members, and her home, they look like an affluent family, and that she has been spoiled by the older adults.

I hope we see flashbacks of the real story behind the reprimand.

Were MXD and Lin Lin in an intimate relationship, or just hanging out? YG or someone said they broke up three times. I wasn't paying too much attention, but in the early episodes, it sounded like MXD was clueless that Lin Lin liked him all these years. Now, he is jealous. LOL

Amazing that the drama is already at the midpoint in only one week.

I foresee Brother Meng interfering in the relationship. Zhao keeps referring to the young man accompanying her, as her brother, but she refers to HIS parents, not OUR parents. Are they related or not?

I looked up the production credits on Dramawiki for the writer's name. The author and screenwriter is Mo Bao Fei Bao. (I don't know if it is a male or female). The earliest credit is Scarlet Heart 2011, so this writer should be over 30. You can check out the writer's drama resume if you search Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. It feels like the Amidst ... Love writing is targeted toward early 20s and teens.

I first saw him in Nirvana in Fire, that I watched in 2017. Hard to believe that teenager is all grown up and manly handsome, and Leading Man material. Time flies.
