I am watching the drama because of Chu Bei Jie only.

I am watching this drama, because of Wallace Chung. Chu Bei Jie is the romantic warrior general.

Viewers, at any age, cried during that final scene. It was the best scene in a movie or drama, that I have seen.

I am curious why it took 20 to 30 years for him to be upgraded to Goblin status.

The only problem that I experience with these long dramas, is keeping track of the last episode that I watched on the drama site.

I am very impressed with your timeline. I hoped to watch ten episodes weekly, but I averaged 18 episodes weekly. I should be done in 1 week.

I am watching NIF and General and I concurrently, and I was mixing up the harem women of the King/Emperor.

Also, the characters get stabbed, poisoned, or flogged, and emerge, resilient.

It has taken me, a year to get to this drama. I am doing a marathon watch, for the first time. I finished 36 episodes in 2 weeks. It is a very intricate, intelligent script, written in the style of Literature, more than an episodic TV drama. All the actors have solid acting skills. Hu Ge carried the drama on his shoulders, and won the acting award for his labors. It is slow at times, but with 54 scripts, (approximately 2,160 minutes of film), the plot could not move swiftly. I wish that this drama had participated in the 2016 International Emmy Awards.

This is my second tomb drama in the last six months. Candle is written well.

I have to remember to keep a towel nearby, when I watch the last episode. I am sure that it is a happy ending, but we will still cry a river. We already watched the sad part of the drama in ep 13, and cried a river.

I think that TVN can produce the prequel drama, of Kim Shin, during his warrior days.

Same here! I watched ep 13 at 11PM, and could not sleep for a few hours. It was a big shock. The director and writer were ingenious, coordinating that sword moment with Yoo and Go Eun.

I guess that the PPL fees were a big chunk of the product budget. They got to travel to, and film in Quebec. All the winter coats in this show, and the actor's outfits, might have filled up the wardrobe room.

Eun Tak seemed to 'grow up' (mature( in the last two episodes.

A major shock to the system! I was in shock and in tears, during the last scene in Ep 13.

Ep 1, 11 and 13 were excellent. I agree about the blur.

It was the same with me, but Ep 11 pulled me back into the plot. Ep 13 was written like the ending but the story is not done yet, with three more episodes left.

I read a comment on the online novel translation site, that the story has a happy ending. I hope that 'happy' is our definition of 'happy'. (Smile!). I would hope that the scriptwriter kept that in mind. We'll see it in three weeks.
