It's really sad how much Quality Xianxia genre has declined since this CLASSIC! I have dropped every Xianxia drama the past 2-3 years, the last one I watched fully was probably "Ancient Love Poetry". The rest seem so generic, watered down, with cutesy babbling 3yr old FLs . WAY TOO REPETITIVE, brainwashing and ANTI GOD, "DEVIL is GOD, GOD is the real bad DEMON" etc... can't believe how much I have come to hate this genre... Guess I just continue to rewatch this for a High Quality authentic Chinese Mythology!!!

Day 5 and I'm back here crying, wish we had a beautiful happy ending before the holidays, instead of this beautiful realistically sad ending. I won't lie, I expected this since episode 1 but as the drama kept progressing I got emotionally attached to each one of these amazing characters. There were rumors in the comments weeks ago that the script was released and this would happen. I didn't think the writers would have the b@lls to actually do it, and they did!! 💔💔💔🥺😫😭

40 million views each ep on one of the local chinese apps, still trending, #1ViU south asian app, it reached 10100 Iqiyi index heat! This drama is a success 👍🏻 both China and Overseas, Now if Netflix or Viki picks it up 🙏🏼🥺 It will reach a bigger overseas audience.

For someone to not get it, they obviously are NEW to these types of dramas, as soon as I saw that 3rd "disabled" Prince in the beginning episodes I knew he would be a future problem. I knew none of them could be trusted for allowing their BABY SISTER Yang Ying to go on a death mission.

Yeah! Day 3-4 for me and we need to have a viewers therapy after this show made us fall in love with these amazing characters, just to break our hearts. Now I can't move on! 😭😫

I agree, its bad and childish. After a mature drama with professional A+ acting in AJTL, kind of hard to watch that kiddy show with over acting and underwhelming ml

Just back to say Princess Yang Ying character is an awesome young actress He Lan Dou. Watching her character development from beginning to to end seem like 2 different people "who she was VS who she became" I pray this is her breakout role because NOT many of the young "Traffic stars" today can display this type of A Grade acting, She has so much POTENTIAL as a REAL ACTRESS, I really hope they don't water her acting down by given her these cheesy cutesy diluted IDOL roles that so many popular actresses take to keep a zombie like fandom. I'm really hoping directors and produces are taking her serious as an Actress, I was BLOWN AWAY!!! by her performance.

This drama was everything!!! My Journey to you wish it was, I went to go rewatch since i left at ep 5.😭 no offense to the fans, I tried it and had to drop at episode 8, ML make me cringe, 2ML Gong Shang Jue was the absolute best and I loved The big sis as well, too bad they could not make me stay 😭 FL 2FL and ML are just not believable at all.
