Emperor, Empress and Consort Yue seems like a solid Intelligent grounded foundation for Monarchs, but their kids are HELL!!!! How did they have so many Monster children. I'm sure because The Rulers were raised in Poverty and in strife, their children were spoiled now that they have riches. They are obnoxious unappreciative BRATS, Their dad really sacrificed for Peace in his country and this is how they return his hardwork. I see why Empress and Consort Yue seem to Respect each other and dont involve themselves in petty palace fighting. They were there for the comeup in "Poverty" together.
I will be rewatching this classic, definitely the first of its kind extremely enchanting, Now its funny to watch so many Xianxia Cdramas and the all resemble this Classic, The Original. Mark Chao is a Superior actor in his own class. Its great to see someone younger like Cheng Yi coming up as a Phenomenal Xianxia actor also leveling up this Genre with their superb acting.
