I switched to C-dramas in 2022 and never looked back (after being an avid K-watcher for years)...K-dramas definitely don't hit like they used to...Netflix/Disney+ etc really killed the hype for me. (I can't even watch this one legally since it is not even available on Disney+ France for the moment🙄)
I'm not even a Xu Kai fan (started this one for Deng Enxi) but 7.3 is like..are you mad?!? First time I enjoyed a drama with Xu Kai...he nailed his role imo👏 'Eight Hundred' was a gritty and emotional ride. A hard watch but a good one. Highly recommended🎬

Ignore. You have to understand it's pretty low-budget. I love Zhu Zheng Ting and he's the main reason why I'm watching it tbh (I also appreciate and know the FL and Xie Bin Bin) You just have to lower your expectations for this kind of shows. My personal opinion is that it's pretty decent for the moment. Give it a chance!
