Oh boy, partying with women and drinking alcohol are prohibited in Islam. This is shown globally and the portrayal…
I'm not educating you. But you know we learn everyday even from the least expected person. I'm going to speak for myself, I personally I'm not one to say a particular food, clothings, word or language, hairstyle etc belongs to a particular group and shouldn't be used by others.

I'm of the school of thought that we are all one and can share anything and everything. Using the N word has never been an issue for me. When one is well traveled and exposed alot of things will seem trivial and unnecessary.

You already sound pissed so I'm gonna stop here.

In our religion alcohol and sexual interactions are Haram and really make the person low, plus it may not be clear…
It's fiction, it's not real. Why are we so sensitive almost defensive. Anyone that takes this scene as reality to mean that's how all Arab prince's are, are either ignorant or stupid.

I know Islam speaks against alcohol but does that directly translates to mean all Islams don't take alcohol? Can you also say with 100% certainty that Islams even the real Arab princes don't take alcohol or flirt with women? Why are we acting so righteous? We are all sinners and that's why everyday is another Chance to be better.

I just think it's ridiculous to say because your religion doesn't support something, if it is portrayed in a drama, it's a taboo or an attack to that religion. What if the writer had a personal experience of such? Do we have the right to discredit his/her experience?

Please it's not that deep, we all need to take a chill pill.

Love and Peace ✌🏿

And for the reputational damage you spoke of, I don't think this portrayal of the Arab prince affected the way people see Arabs. And if there are any that feel otherwise then it's a personal issue with that person. Arabs are cool people and just like any race, there will always the good and bad people. Categorizing an entire race based on 1 encounter is stupidity and ignorance.

He is an actor, meaning portraying a character, it's not real. Secondly I'm from Nigeria where the northern part practice what they call "Sharia Law". These laws are very strict and in my opinion a few of the laws needs to be eradicated and abolished cos it's against basic human rights. But that's by the way. My point is I have first hand knowledge of these so called Islamic leaders, people they look up to that drink to drunkenness, womanise and flirt even with married women. And please don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning anyone, religion or race. I'm only saying no one is perfect and even those you expect to be chaste and pure are the worse sinners.

Lastly, the scene in that episode was not so bad the way people are portraying it to be. He was simply having fun. I see no abuse of women, it's all conscentual. Most of these people in real life do worse behind close doors.

So I came here to read comments about that steamy kiss at the end of ep 8 but to my greatest surprise it's total opposite of what I expected which I'm going to address.

First, I really didn't see the disrespect to Arabs, maybe because I'm not one and so not sensitive to the protrayal in that particular episode. That being said I'm not going to take away the Arabs right to feel how they feel about it. It's their right. But in my opinion which I also have the right to have, I think it's a little bit exaggerated.

What I took or perceived from the Arab princes' protrayal is that he is a kind, friendly, playful, considerate person, a little flirty but that's all. Which to me it's not farfetched. I have met Arabs that womanise or flirty, it doesn't mean all Arabs are like that. I read some comments of it being an insult to Islam and I'm like what the heck... Where did that come from? You need to chill, not everything is an attack. It's a romcom, comedy being a major part. I see alot of pessimist in this comment section and it's not healthy. If we are always eager see the wrong in things, believe me you will never see any good.
Anyway to the Arabs that felt offended,
Sorry, I apologize for the hurt you may have felt. I'm sure they didn't mean to
be any disrespect. I hope this doesn't make you all miss out on such a great drama.

Peace and love. ❤️

My take on Ep 13...First, let me put this out there. It is very normal for there to be clashes at the beginning…
I forgot to add, I don't think SWJ is acting childish. I totally disagree. I just think he is one that wears his loyalty on his sleeves. When CEJ father first came to the trauma Centre, he choose to remain in Doldam hospital cos he felt all credible hands were taken and he didn't want to leave Master Kim struggling. But remember that didn't stop him from going to the trauma Centre when the need arose. And also he eventually buried the hatchet with CEJ dad and they had mutual understanding and respect for each other.
So I believe the same will happen with KDJ, though it might take a while cos they are in the same field, have similar relationships with Master Kim and obviously have a not so pleasant history.

My take on Ep 13...

First, let me put this out there. It is very normal for there to be clashes at the beginning of any new leadership. It's normal, especially when there is a preexisting loyalty. So I understand the CEJ, SWJ and others reservations. I have worked as a leader and I had to prove myself before I got their trust.

About KDJ, I agree and disagree with him. Separating operations in the two hospitals was the right thing to do, that I agree. But I disagree on the part of him not lending a helping hand to Doldam emergency especially when they were idle for 3 days plus and the latter had their hands full and needed help. You can't be totally rigid, there should be room for flexibility. If he created that from the onset, CEJ wouldn't have made that call at the last minute thereby causing a riple effect on other things.

I also did not like KDJ scolding CEJ the way he did, while she was in the middle of an operation. Do I agree she needed scolding? Yes, definitely, but after the operation. KDJ endangered the patients life by doing that. He could have scolded her severely after she was done. I appreciate CEJ for wanting to save the patient but she should at least told Master Kim, who is the head there. So on that she needed correction.

About SWJ, I think I'm totally bias about him, I just love him. But, I will still call him out on his bullshit when need be. First, he needs to rest those fingers. I understand him though, it's not easy for one who is used to something to suddenly not do that thing. Also him snatching the phone from KDJ was wrong but the intention was good. I feel with time they both will learn to respect and support each other.

Lastly, about these kids wanting to be like Master Kim, it's not their fault. SWJ and CEJ won't be the doctors they are today if not for Master Kim, so they way they look up to him is definitely different from how KDJ sees Master Kim. To the former Master Kim is a savior, a father and a teacher. To the latter Master Kim is only a teacher. So the relationship will definitely be different. So please guys, give them a little break. I think Master Kim knows all these hence bringing someone who will make them independent, but this would take a while, it won't be automatic.

On a friendly note can be talk about the intervention in Ah reum and Eun Tak relationships, it's just hilarious to see have totally different the male and female reasoning and perspective are when it comes to relationships. Those two needs to be locked in a room for hours until they trash their problems and make up.

I have come to realize that critics and general comments on myDramalist can very much be deceiving. If I wasn't watching this drama, reading the comments would have discouraged not to watch it, which is very bad.

We should be guided when leaving comments, don't be over sensitive to your desires and expectations of a drama, rather try to be objective with your thoughts and feelings. If it goes exactly how you want it, won't that be a bad thing?

Personally, I think it's okay for a part 3 of a drama not to follow same pattern as 1 or 2. That's realistic. Master Kim is aging, it's like 8 years from the onset both in the drama and in real life. Won't it be absurd for them to still make Master Kim be the same especially with his illness. Plus Doldam is bigger now, it's only natural to make the drama more than Master Kim. Still, he is still made the Centre of everything.

I love how everything is going, even from the poster, that should have told you the direction the season would take. Everyone plays a role, the size of the picture space indicates the level of your role.
If we can be more open minded to drama, you will find out that you will enjoy and love it more.

Not saying criticism is bad or we shouldn't air our opinions but let it be from an objective, constructive point.

For anyone if wants to watch the drama and needs a recommendation or a go ahead, PLEASE Do. It's a great great drama and I personally look forward to it every weekend. It's one of my weekend pleasures.

Xoxo

Yes, but there is no logic or cognitive reasoning with LOVE. It's always a priority. He came out of a near death…
Lol, I understand you, truly I do. But I think that's the difference between men and women. Men are more practical, women on the other hand are more sensitive. For a relationship to work both genders need to try understand and accommodate the others needs. Ahreum acted as she felt at the moment and we see it's a built up of feelings waiting to explode. It's good she exploded now and not keep it bottled. This way there will be unlearning and relearning in their relationship thereby making them stronger.

Also on the aspect of Eun tak not thinking of contacting her after such ordeal is not normal. I personally have been in a near death situation and believe me when I tell you that the first thing that I could do when I came out of it was contact my loved ones. It's just innate.

I don't care if this is makjang drama. It's still ridiculous that they made a comedy drama about extramarital…
Sorry you feel that way, but that age is the age to be careful not to make the same mistakes that will potentially lead you these problems. You said it's a serious issue in Korea now, I would say more reason to shed more like on it. If you hide or don't talk about a problem, does it make the problem go away? No. But rather if it's talked about, and exposed, solutions can be gotten.
We could see the effects of marital affairs in this drama. Everyone is affected negatively, so if one was having thoughts of going into it, this drama shows there is no happy ending for you, rather regrets are all that you will get.
So contrary to your belief, I applaud the drama for exposes such delicate but serious issue in mild comedic way.
