If you don't mind using a vpn then I believe you can watch some of the netflix ones like Project S: Side by Side (same goes for amazon prime ones but I don't think those usually have english subtitles)
Other ones like for an example, Team Medical Dragon, can be found on the torrent site Nyaa.si if you don't mind downloading

I think it's mostly because they're overshadowed by K/C drama and the other much bigger medium in Japan, Anime.

yeah same I still love them. I have noticed their lack of talent in that area when compared to like K-Drama, like you said too bright, dark, the yellow or blue tint, etc. just found this drama to have some really wacky grading, like one scene in ep7 had their skin tone the same colour as the gymnasium floor haha
