Absolutely loved this, good acting, realistic and grounded. It was a bit messy but that's how it is IRL. Sad its over and I hope to see these guys in BL again in the future. I liked the end game couples, I was rooting for BaaBua! Very ITSAY feel to it and I love that, ITSAY is one of my all-time favorite BLs ever.

Coming back after all these years to a classic that got me started in BL, seems time (or rather more modern fans) haven't been kind to this series.

I don't speak either languages so it didn't really bother me lol. I mean if the plot and characters aren't interesting I get it not being liked for that. But the language thing being a factor is odd to me.

Still better than 80% of GMMTV's commercialized mainstream crap.

Is the reason really that shallow? Every American movie has foreigners speaking English usually, I don't see the problem.

I like the sexual BFs, they have a fun relationship. Leave them alone Ms. Bonerkillerella! Episode 6 was finally getting interesting and you ruined it! Ugh, I hate that.

I admit as a Westerner I'm happy to see a white dude in the cast, we are pretty rare in BL.

Well by what I mean by inappropriate is an adult with a minor. People bring up age of consent but AOC doesn't mean a minor can be with an adult, that's age of majority, age of consent just means you are old enough to legally have sex but only with peers until reaching the age of majority (adulthood). But yes the dynamic is important to me too, and they aren't clicking for me but that's just my own subjective opinion :P

Taiwan LOVES having at least ONE inappropriate age gap / social dynamic in their BLs most of the time.

To a mature adult, teens are kids.

Try See Your Love, written by the same lady who did We Best Love I think. Anyways I think its a good one personally.

My biggest issue with some BL that does non-human with human or baddie with normie is that like, for example, in vampire BL the vampires don't act like vampires (too nice or ethical), criminals rarely act criminal (too nice or ethical), or androids don't act like Data (okay kind of joke but act more artificial lol!) With criminal/vampire love interests its like I expect them to be "flawed" or not entirely likeable, so when they are its kind of breaks the immersion. Same when an artificial lifeform acts TOO human.

Couple 3 has a healthy sex life, let them be happy people lol. Pony is a bit annoying and way inappropriate with the employees. I like the main couple so far, we don't get much of 2 couple so far. Story is a bit meh but I still like it so far on the whole. I said so far too many times.

Age of consent doesn't mean you can sleep with adults it means you are old enough to have sex (but with like peers). Age of majority in Taiwan is 18 and age of majority means you are old enough to sleep with adults because you are one. Its a common misconception that age of consent allows for sex with adults, it does not. Age of consent here in Washington State, USA is 16 for example, but age of majority is 18. So in Washington State an adult cannot legally be with someone under 18.

I've noticed a lot of comedy BL has toilet/gross out humor and I don't get it either. I don't think vomiting, or passing gas or diarrhea is funny. Thankfully usually its not a major feature with most series. There are plenty of tropes in BL I'd be happy to see disappear, like rain confession/argument/heart-to-heart scenes that lead to one of the guys getting sick and then the whole "take care of you" trope is just so overdone. So is pulling a person out of the way of a vehicle just in time only to hold each other and stare into one another's eyes for five minutes lol! Lot of tropes are cliche and thus kind of boring and I long for more originality or a least using overused tropes much less.

I think its because one is a minor? Or at least is presented as a minor, I know the actor is actually an adult.
