Action and romance are the highlights from latest episode for me. The scenes were wonderfully delivered. Their tension, their intensity, their intimate vibe were all captured beautifully through the lens. They've been showing how they care so much for each other, then what happened at The Wild Hunt absolutely only brought JadeKamin together way closer and more open to express their feelings. Their kisses also hand size difference in that sensual moment when intertwining their fingers were extremely sexy, very natural, good portrayal to convey their love flourishing. I'm impressed by everything about it. JoongDunk is one of the best couples with great chemistry and they know how to make it as if their characters were a real person with own mind and own heart.
I found my new joy by watching JoongDunk's reactions to Dare You To Death episodes. Every time they laughed and got shy, I giggle along with them while kicking my feet. It seems they have such a fun cozy warm personality, they were serious and playful at the same time, and words they said were coming from a place that feel very genuine. Also, it's always amazing when the actors themselves give us insightful views of their work and I can listen to JoongDunk's enthusiastic talking about this series even for more hours. They're so me while shouting protests JadeKamin's bed scene being too short! lol. I like it we share the same thought where the story can be unexpected and we will still end up loving it. I enjoy each episode a lot, and it's a satisfying look JoongDunk are totally happy with Dare You To Death as well.
"The illegal drugs you sold are tied to a murder case. On top of drug trafficking, you'll be charged as an accomplice."
So we're connecting the dots! It's normal for a series presenting police and crime story to have one main case with some other cases that can be related to the main case or stay independent. I'd say it's an accurate practice as in real life police officers are usually working on several cases too during the same period, since gathering proof for a case take progress once in days, weeks, months, or even years; better not wasting time being stuck in a single case. Moreover, many cases may turn into cold cases (and expired cases?) when no enough evidences nor clues to be found in an extremely long investigation. But luckily here Kamin suspected The Wild Hunt was the one provided drugs in Avengers' cases. JadeKamin are one step closer to track down the buyer also identity of the killer if it's true. The problem that occured, Seon Jae won't hand any answer in for free. We've seen the cool guns fight spoiler since official trailer and preview released, and given the full event of it now, I must say I'm in awe of very well the scene being executed. Camera work is amazing. Dunk is great in his role too. The view is wonderful. I can feel their intensity so thick in the air. I like the way cliffhanger built on a big trust Kamin has in Jade and we'll watch Jade fighting with all his mighty for them both in a boxing match.
I admire how observant Inspector Kamin is and he clearly has a talent to play a little mind game inside the interrogation room. Those paparazzi photos, taken by police on duty to keep an eye on the group, were lowkey a nice bait to start their loyalty crumbling down. Tonkla may act on a hunch all the time, but to see Cherreen with Champ walking along Champ's apartment corridor as a reality was no doubt still such a punch in his face. It must be hurting his ego so much. I enjoy watching Kamin while he then brought up Champ's name further to dig up more informations from the Avengers about Tonkla's murdering a man by a car. His smart choice of words led them to speak bluntly honest than they ever had. Tonkla tried to save Cherreen at the beginning, thus he couldn't believe his ears when Cherreen would rather get this Tonkla boy alone in prison to protect Champ. That's his final straw of course and Tonkla was no longer hesitated to drag Champ into his case by telling Kamin the whole story following her betrayal. Cherreen, however, in a desperate effort to take attention away from Champ, her tactic was to sell Time and his dirty works to our Inspector. Time's father unfortunately is a police officer which I'm sure it made the situation not easy for Kamin to process the testimony immediately; at least he needs to seize those alleged tapes as strong evidences first. Truth or Dare letter, in the meantime, probably arrived on someone's hand because soon after questioning, Tonkla was the new victim of the masked killer who he succeed to avoid earlier using his Dare card. Not only it's finally confirmed Fai received her own letter and we're hit by more shocking facts in her private life, through the episode we also learn Truth or Dare game is possible to come back to a previous player that already "safe" in another round before.
While I'm still not moving on from JadeKamin's first kiss where they started to learn their true heart for each other, it seems JadeKamin themselves will level up their romance life through dealing with difficulties together when the investigations getting closer to reach some people holding power or something. Maybe because their chemistry is too strong as always, and maybe because JoongDunk are simply talented portraying the Captain and Inspector duo in their own charming ways, each week I feel like I never watch enough of them on my screen, want the episodes to last longer. Yes, I'm enjoying all we have so far but craving for more JadeKamin nevertheless. Their range is beautiful in performing very different characters than the previous ones which also makes their dynamic providing a new engaging taste.
New episode tonight. The preview is giving more intense feelings already. So, will our Inspector with his Captain continue to investigate the Avengers' case or will they turn their focus on the drugs case first? Or did both cases even happen in parallel, it just we can't foresee the connection between them during this time? Things were only going complicated since Fai's death and the rest of Avengers began to receive Truth or Dare letters. I'm still having no confidence to say that we're looking for two killers or a single murderer here, nor to figure out the exact motive behind group being the target. But what I suspect, from everything we gather in four episodes, perhaps there are a few informations misleading us to wrong person and leaving out the details we actually need.
I feel like I'm the only one who enjoys this... Seriously, Dunk's acting got much better and the case is freaking…
He's so good. I'm in love with Inspector Kamin! And you can count me in. It will make at least there two of us who enjoy this! lol. Story is great. I always like to rewatch the latest episodes while looking forward to the new ones.
I realise food props are no longer only for the look. I remember when I watched older Thai BL I often wanted to steal the spoon then feed everyone on screen. lol. For a reason, their hands always stopped in the middle of action or camera focus would shift to somewhere else. But now my JadeKamin can peacefully chew their meal while flirting across the table. Snacks, main course, they can eat them all deliciously throughout the scene. I like it. The concept of handsome men and mukbang suits JadeKamin perfectly.
Romance is destined to happen. It's a win for us the moment Kamin agreed to Jade's offer, paying in rent to sleep at his Captain's house rather than spending big money on hotel bills. Their beautiful first kiss on Jade's bed came naturally after the two put their armor down. Dare You to Death airtime is approximately 1 hour per episode but the living together idea practically brings JadeKamin almost 24 hours a day being with each other in their universe. They meet at work. They meet again at home. Besides efficiency when both of them need to go in team during investigation, I can see this situation helping their personal relationship level up through daily interactions outside the work, making them closer eventually, and I won't blame Jade if he's falling deeper in his feeling only because the amounts of time he got Kamin around himself. As for Kamin, he's unpredictable. He's a serious type, a very strict Inspector, but I believe he's still a human with a soft side that surely moved by someone's tenderness in taking care of him. Jade is the proof and Kamin's eyes just can't lie there. Their kiss can't lie.
When Tar said Bell ruined a face, i thought it's because of the slap. Acid never passed my mind; acid is absolutely much worse. And it's not certain yet that Bell's secret was about Cherreen or another girl as a victim because photos didn't show a clear face, but so far, Tonkla's secret has nothing to do with Fai. Also, he's alive while we surprisingly have to witness another Avengers member's death. This result however confuses me more since apparently Truth or Dare letter gave you a choice to save yourself by sacrificing others? Was the Dare card a wild card? Names weren't a clue to the secret? Tonkla got Cherreen and Bell written inside his own Truth or Dare and later we know the names were specifically appeared on the Dare card which he hid from JadeKamin. Bell herself got Jay and Cherreen on hers. Facing the masked person, she mentioned she chose Cherreen but unfortunately she's a step late than another player (Tonkla?). The killer was targeting the entire group so it stays in my question the possibility of Fai having her Truth or Dare letter as well. And even if Fai wasn't a receiver, did anyone use Dare card to take her life instead? Though the only missing thing, there's no people with a strange mask on her case. Just her suspicious trading drugs with Cherreen and we learn the information recently based on Tonkla confronting Cherreen.
I need it to happen in the near future. A close-up of Kamin's beautiful long fingers snaking slowly on Jade's cool arm tattoo will be a dream comes true.
The determination shown in JadeKamin's serious talk following Jade's phone call with Jay really gets me such a pure delight. In the beginning, I can feel their weight through my screen where situation was very complicated to Jade by having one of the suspects in Fai's case was the brother he wanted to protect from serial murder. However, Kamin was vocal putting confidence in their teamwork. He believed in Jade to solve the case together. He did a soft approach to the siblings' condition when he maintained their investigation to move forward at the same time. And the way JadeKamin still able to take care of each other like this, or to flirt while working and outside the work, is a good balance to Avengers' dark storyline in my opinion. It's a breather. It makes the episode rewatchable. Oh, also JadeKamin and Jay's dynamic! The scene of Jay-Jade Guesthouse welcoming Kamin is too adorable that somehow it could be a trap to catch us off guard later.
So, a new target unlocked. Another secret will be taken out of the Pandora's box tomorrow. This next Avengers member could be dragged into a painful and violent way to die as well. Or perhaps, any chance he's going to survive? Different than Tar's letter, besides photos, Tonkla also got names written inside his own Truth or Dare. The Avengers girls' names. Both of them who still alive. Kamin added "secret relationship" on his notes after Jade and himself chased Cherreen to her campus then saw her with the boyfriend. Meanwhile regarding Bell, we only know during the interrogation about she bullied a junior. To update my list of the possible killer on Fai's death, I must see what stuff Tonkla was hiding, what line was tying these girls with his secret, even for him to meet the masked person so maybe I can read the pattern; if Truth or Dare letter is truly a revenge game on behalf of the late Fai, or if her case was brought up to punish Tar previously just because she's in the same group.
I like his character in The Dark Dice, he's one of my favourites, and probably that's why I need a lot of time to recover from shock of watching how for Dare You to Death the actor portraying someone as utterly evil as Tar (moreover, in evil specifacally to women). One week has passed since the latest episode release and still... lol. Well, I think I'll just come back later, to write down here my own guess about the killer.
Joong's and Dunk's acting are so good that I almost forgot they're only actors playing roles. Maybe I love JadeKamin a little bit too much, their seriousness in working solving the case also the sexual tension with a Captain and his Inspector dynamic. First episode is very interesting already but the second one is even more exciting!
It's a peak season with netflix releases a lot of original contents in December. However, during this hour, my eyes keep searching for new episode to watch under Dare You to Death. I can't imagine next week how I'll survive without JadeKamin, especially the sexy strict Inspector. Why the clock moves so slow? lol. Maybe after Christmas dinner then.
The way our Inspector quickly protecting his Captain while fired back at the gunmen during their alley battle, OMG he's so pro also extremely attractive! DunkJoong era. Perfect casting. And the ticket was JadeKamin's love letter at this point. lol

A little rewind to find this nice quote again. I was almost rooting for her...
"What do you think of my taste?"
I've spent an unhealthy amount of time replaying it then chuckled for each.
