I'm so so happy because I know Northward isn't popular internationally since people tend to like romance dramas but it's such a masterpiece!!

Huge congratulations to her and the Northward team because they all deserve it so much!

Really glad Aozi is finally getting the recognition he long deserves and has had a really strong year of dramas!!

I've liked him since Poisoned Love so this recognition is long overdue 🙂‍↕️

Much better in my opinion, I also dropped the Korean one but I've really been loving this version.

I love that we have the same but in slightly different order! 😊

1. Northward (literal masterpiece I have no other words 👏🏻👏🏻).
2. Arsenal Military Academy (my first ever Bai Lu drama and I was seriously in love the moment I saw her, it's also sooo good as well) .
3. Story of Kunning Palace (this drama literally saved me and got me into historical Chinese dramas because I was never a fan before).

Honourable mention to Only and Only as well, basically all these 4 dramas are tied No.1 for me from Bai Lu's dramas cause I can't pick 😅

I will also say I didn't mention any of her xianxia's cause I'm really not a fan of wuxia/xianxia but I'll watch it if Bai Lu is in it (she nails this genre!)

I literally will do anything for them to do a variety show as well!! Though I have a feeling they won't do one..

I know it's natural to want her to look the most beautiful as fans but I also firmly believe that these things should be left to the professionals. I am sure it has gone through many rounds of approvals and the production team is happy with it.

I stand by when it comes to voicing concerns when needed but it's also very discouraging for the styling and make-up team when they have worked so hard for the costumes only for fans to say they want them replaced.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I actually have been loving the styling so far.

I like that it's subtle but elegant and that it's different to what Bai Lu usually wears in her other dramas. It matches the novel quite well in the sense that when you read the novel, the costumes are described in a way that makes you understand that they are focusing on a more refined type of beauty that leaves a deep impression.

Bai Lu is also so gorgeous she can pull off these looks so well!!

That's good to hear! I've had my MDL account for so long but I've always been a silent watcher and only now have gotten comfortable with leaving comments.

Yeah I can imagine creating your own studio would be hard and with a lot of pressure because then you also have employees you are now responsible for. I trust in whatever decision she makes.

I have been seeing 🍉 of her renewing her contract but don't contacts last like 10 years or for a long time?

If anyone is looking for some ideas regarding DIY crocs, I made my own for Bai Lu because I couldn't afford actual crocs so I got some unofficial ones 😂

None of the Bai Lu exclusive charms were available where I was so I just ended up experimenting.

Yes it did take me a long time and I am a very uncreative person so I was very proud at the end of the day.

I ended up getting some very afforable crocs (not official) and getting a bunch of charms that represent Lulu (pineapple, butterflies, flowers, pearls, clouds, moon, letters of her name) and it turned out really well.

Would highly recommend if anyone is thinking to do the same.

Same! I also feel like dramas that end in December end up missing award shows and other things so their achievements are under appreciated. Better for it to come fresh next year.
