I was skeptical about starting this drama but glad I gave it a shot. Really enjoying the themes it presents and the cast is amazing as well. Also like how the romance is slowly developing between the two leads.
This is my first drama with Shin Se Kyung. I've only heard bad things about her but I see nothing wrong. In fact I think she's great. I love her role as Hae Ryung.
Am I weird to ship eunsum and chae eun more than eunsum and tanya?????
You're not alone. They work well together. And her character reminds me a bit of his mom in the sense that she doesn't bare hatred and actually has affection for the Igutu/neanthal
it's heartbreaking & I feel so bad for Giseok. I regret watching it.it's been 2 year since Reply 1988 broke my…
Late reply but this isn't like Reply 1988. He wasn't completely rejected and there is no sign of her dating the other guy either. She just didn't accept his feeling because of the whole situation with her dad and was confused about her feelings. The way it ended was perfected. Leaves it to viewers interpretation.
The friendship was great in this film but her committing suicide sort of ruined the movie for me. I just don't buy it. Maybe it's due to the influence of watching 1 Litre of Tears.
This was a great movie. I felt more for the characters here than I did in the anime. The 3 leads were amazing and the friendship between Kaoru/Sentarou was wholesome.
Also my first Komatsu Nana film. She is beautiful :) Need to see more films with her.
Watching this drama because of Seo Kang Joon but unfortunately it's plot is uninteresting. Will try to to continue and hope it picks up after this third time skip.
His sister and friend are the most fun to watch but they barely get any screen time.
I feel all all the characters in this film were bad in a sense (as people). Definitely a good film but far from great. The direction however is brilliant. I can tell the director is very experienced. This is the first film I've watched of his but will definitely check out more of his works. Overall an 8/10
Raising my score to 8.5/10. Movie is too memorable and after watching a movie similar to it "The Perfect" I realized how good this film really is. Also think it's a must watch. Park is a genius.
Not as heartbreaking as 1 litre of tears (I don't think anything is) but good in it's own right. Really glad I decided to watch it and also satisfied in how it ended. Miura Himura's acting is amazing. Will definitely watch more series with him.
I first found out about her in Boku no Ita Jikan and she really caught my attention. Watched Ano Hana immediately after finding out she was Menma. Will continue to follow her from here on out. She is brilliant and is an out of this world beauty
This drama was one of the difficult things to watch and also the most meaningful. It shattered my heart into a million of pieces. Even though they didn't shove the romance in your face it was one of the best if not the best I've seen. Just seeing the two leads together almost makes you forget it's a tragic series. This is definitely a must watch. I don't give 10's often but this show is without a doubt a 10.
Going to miss this drama. This is the first drama I've watched of Lee Sung Kyung. She did a great job at playing Kim Bok Joo and it's hard to not fall for her cuteness :)
Nam Joo Hyuk became one of the most likeable male leads for me as Jung Joon. It's funny considering how much I disliked his character in School 2015. He truly redeemed himself with this role.
