I was wondering why the director said there was a message for hope. Why was it called Snowdrop? For the longest time I believed that all the sufferings would end with a flower blooming aka a happy ending. An ending where both Sooho and YoungRo live happily.
Read it on twitter, and it makes sense - Youngro was the Snowdrop to Sooho. She was the flower, the ray of hope for him. She made him hope for a normal life, for happiness for love and that is the most beautiful thing ever.
Him recording the tape should have been a major sign if him d-wording, but since the director said "the snowdrop flower blooms at the end of harsh winter" I really thought we would get a happy ending. That ending BROKE me. I'm still bawling while typing this. They deserved the happy ending, although we all know it was impossible.

Because as we know, he was very skeptical about trusting Dr. Kang with the whole plan, and a plan which requires her escaping and returning back? nuh-uh nobody in their right mind would trust her. But anyways, what he's asking Hanah to do is sort of an insurance policy? At least that's how it makes sense to me.
