Is the SML good or bad? I can’t tell if he’s just trying to use her for something or he genuinely likes her. Can someone lmk? I’m on episode 4 btw. Just tell me if he’s good or bad, no detailed spoilers please.
I really love the main couple, but jeez there are so many characters that I dislike. Here’s the list so far:
1.) Sol Hee’s mom: What a fuckin psycho? I hate her so much and tbh I feel like she shouldn’t even be part of the story she adds nothing but aggravation. She could have stayed as the fmc’s bad past trauma with flashback scenes, bc all her present day appearances are just boring. Shitty parents is such a huge trope in kdramas and it’s awful. They need to normalize people completely cutting ties with their parents and also calling the police on them when they act abusive. It’s so frustrating to watch the fmc just let her mom walk all over her.
2.) Syaon: or whatever her name is. She keeps overstepping, acting delusional and tbh she’s just a down right brat. I see no redeeming her after her fake suicide attempt like wtf that was insane and insensitive
3.) Muzin or wtf: annoying ass, entitled music producer. I’m glad he was dealt with early on, but I am praying he doesn’t come back. His character was one I also felt this drama could have done without.
4.) CEO J’s Brother: what a twat!!! I can already feel the mess he’s about to brew up and I’m only on episode 6. Props to the actor tho bc that chewing gum scene where he’s extorting money from DoHa made me want to slap the life out of him, truly annoying.
5.) Cho Rok/ Salad Bar girl: what is her deal? She’s not cute or funny, her character is just a nuisance. Spreading rumors, always being confrontational, acting creepy towards DoHa and as of the last episode I watched, trespassing into the Luni Tarot Cafe and then acting all snobby when they told her to get the fuck out. Like girl plz exit the screen you’re wasting my time.
6.) The sleezy dude who owns a bar close to Luni Tarot Cafe. He desperately needs to get a clue. He’s like a walking ick. I think maybe he was supposed to be interpreted as lighthearted comedic relief with terrible pick up lines but it’s really not hitting the mark at all. The inexperienced acting seems to be hindering this character from what I can tell.
7.) The ex-gf’s brother: the dude literally behaved like an animal when he saw DoHa’s photo in the newspaper. He needs to get the fattest grip known to man. This ridiculous blind rage and stubborn finger pointing at DoHa just feels stupid. If he really cared about his sister he’d fight to find her and get real justice for her not fixate on someone that seems to have never been charged with a crime
**This is just me venting ya’ll. Please don’t take it too seriously. I genuinely really like the romance and the mystery of this kdrama but the rest feels like one big clusterfuck. The main couple just can’t seem to catch a damn break. I will never understand why one drama needs like 10 different antagonists. Lol**
Just finished this drama and "When I Fly Towards You". I need more recommendations cause now I'm just lost these two dramas were too good. Please any recs similar to "Hidden Love" and/or "When I Fly Towards You," are greatly appreciated. TT
Can someone tell me what the age gap between the ML and FL supposed to be? Currently on Ep.8 and I’m kinda confused on how much older Luo Na is. What are their respective ages in the show? Thanks in advance :)
Leads are mad cute but I can’t get over how everyone is acting like she killed somebody. It was an accident and everyone involved consented to being there. Hate such an angsty plot :/
