Ok, now we have the first episode, opinions please? How is it? Does is it look promising? I'm asking because I…
It was awesome! I really LOVE the old cast and I miss the old characters a lot, but this really looks like it has potential to be as great as the first season :)
I think I love this season even more than the previous one, and it was already so awesome. This is honestly one of the best dramas ever and such a hidden gem.
It's the first time I'm commenting on an article, because I just loved it so much! It was lots of fun to read and see the results. I wish it was longer :D Hope you come up with another interesting idea anytime soon!
I must say I'm quite puzzled and hesitating whether to continue watching.
I have watched like 3-4 episodes so far, and maybe it's because of my lack of experience with Chinese dramas, but I have trouble with following the plot and understanding what's going on (and who is who, lol). Supposedly for that reason I got really bored. However, the ratings are so high that I'm thinking about trying to watch this again, especially since I really like historical plots.
So my point is: did anyone feel the same? Is it worth trying to persevere for some time? Does it become more understandable and interesting?
I might be wrong, but it seems like someone is deliberately trying to bring the ratings down. The last time I checked how people rated KMHM (out of curiousity), there was literally nobody who rated it less than 6/10. And then yesterday suddenly 37 people gave it a 1/10... I respect different opinions, but it's a little suspicious.
Wooooow! I have just finished episode 16! What the heck? She is Cha Do Hyun, so who is he? And are they actually…
Ohh, thank you! I also came up with what you wrote, but in that case, is there a clue about the identity of Ji Sung's real father? Or maybe not yet, if it's true? I got kinda lost, because the plot is quite complicated. And why would he care enough to save him from the accident, would that be because he prefered him over the real heir = Ri Jin?
God, so many questions! Can't wait for the next week, this drama just keeps ruining my daily routine :< Never been so hooked on something before...

It may be that he started living there and took her name, because the bad witch chairwoman and the other family members didn't want to reveal the existence of an extra child, since the heir has appeared (or something along the lines... I'm not really sure, because the mystery is yet to be solved). And this could be the reason for Ri Jin being locked up in the basement.
I'm actually quite puzzled about why that grandmother hates Do Hyun so much (I mean the male Do Hyun, haha).
So I have seen comments of people who complain about the decision of Do Hyun in episode 15 and, to be honest, I'm not a fan of this kind of a plot twist either. (I usually really hate it, though there are even worse ones, like the infamous memory loss XD.) However, in my opinion, it just makes sense in this moment in this drama. They probably could have avoided it, but seeing how the plot has progressed so far, it doesn't seem irrational. How could he not be afraid of Ri Jin's life getting threatened again in the future? And if you take his personality into account (also considering the traumatic experiences), I think it would be quite astonishing if he actually didn't blame himself now. He must be worried sick about the possibility of her undergoing a mental breakdown after finding out the memories, and maybe having her heart changed (nah, we all know neither is gonna happen!). It's not like you overcome such a horrific experience once and it's all over. I just hope they won't eventually seperate, not even for one episode, because Ri Jin is most likely not to give the relationship up even for a little while. So let's just pray she finds the truth out as fast as possible.
I'm very curious about today's episode, because it might bring us either a huge let-down or a major cliffhanger... It's one of the two.
Well, one thing is for sure, the OTP is gonna end up together, so let's persevere. :D
Watching this makes me wonder why you can't rate a drama at least 100/10. It's the first time that I feel like this, having been a drama fan for some years now.
This drama is one of the weirdest I have watched. I mean that usually the series seems just bad because of its ridiculousness, but not in this case. I'm a fan of LJK and I'm very fond of historical series, but this was just poorly written, there was no chemistry between the characters (which were just meh, btw), and it was really BORING, overall. What a huge letdown... :(
