I love it :) This series is unforgettable. One of the first BLs I watched. And twice. Now I follow the filmography of both great ML actors. They were and are amazing.
Wish I could say the same, wish they polished the writing more and were more consistent with the certain plot…
Yes, but sometimes it's enough for the "shell" to crack and all the accumulated sadness suddenly spills out... I have seen this in people who have suffered a huge loss (e.g. sudden death of a spouse or child) and to survive it they put on "armor" and are unable to show any emotions, but when the armor let go, they cried for a long time. I felt the same way, although for a different reason. Psychology knows such cases.

The series is smart and much needed - ESPECIALLY in Korea (also in China). They need many more films like this to break the patriarchal/conservative female role model served up by romantic kdramas, which makes you want just to vomit yet.
Beautiful love story. Bed Friend's intimate scenes are at a higher level than anything I've ever seen during last few years. These scenes are subtle, aesthetic, refined. The seduction is felt regardless of whether they are with or without clothes. And in addition to beautiful shots, beautiful and great actors, they are accompanied by amazing music. The complete package. If I were to rate only the main plot, it would be 9-9.5/10, but everything else is much lower.
And it's wonderful that the producers did that. I wish there were more situations like this, since they can't be aired in China, because if they want, they make good quality BL series, starting with Addicted.
The starting point of the series is a great love story involving the main characters. This and the piano OST are what stopped me inside this series because everything else is very weak. For half the series, I DREAMED of a Korean adaptation of this story with the role of a mafioso played by LEE JOON GI (Flower of Evil) and an appropriately handsome partner for him. Considering LJG's talent, beauty, bautifully sculpted body and fighting skills, a Korean performance could be a masterpiece and this possibility excites me very much....
Apart from the delicate bdsm thing, this role is an acting challenge and imo LJG likes it. So.. if anyone knows where I can submit this proposal so that it reaches the producers or LJG itself, please let me know. Thank you
