I do watch movies from korea, usually those based on true stories they tend to be really good and their old movies…
I have seen perfect proposal its a fine movie, I havent seen pluto but I read its similar to bleak night and those were movies that dealt with sensitive concepts, when it comes to bullying no one can do it better than korean movies.
Even the drama save me can fall into this dark and disturbing category , Also coin locker girl I would put it in this category

While I usually play favorites with japanese dramas, I would say that S.Korea actually keeps surprising me with…
I do watch movies from korea, usually those based on true stories they tend to be really good and their old movies are also really good (their productions and acting tend to be high quality) , but how can I put it .. the japanese movies tend to be unique and they only belong to japan ? lol the weird concepts, the realistic story telling sometimes can only be found in their movies, they are very daring and they explore the darkness at least that what it seems to me

Ooh, the only thing I've watched is Yurigokoro, which I liked. Have been meaning to watch Last Life in the Universe,…
It does make sense for some reason haha

Thank you for the recommendation will check them out , as for love exposure I always wanted to see it because of the female lead, but the movie length always put me off, I mean 4 hours for a movie is way too long haha

Oh, J-dramas have really interesting movies. I just don't like suggestive themed 18+ things... Hmm. 'Confessions'…
honestly I dont remember if there were scenes in the movies, maybe just 1 or so but nothing explicit as I dont like them either( regarding blowfish and last life in the universe) , Yurigokoro is 18+ because of the dark theme mostly

Great list. This makes me want to get back to watching J-dramas and movies. Did you ever watch Love and Fortune…
you mean the netflix drama? I have seen it, but there is better dramas that tackled the older woman (or teacher)/ student relationship , for some reason I found this one to be quite// vulgar? (which is kind of realistic given that they were driven by desire rather than love) and its exactly like you said, you hate the characters and they repulse you (kind of twisted) haha

I think Japan has a talent for the unique weirdly cool movies and dramas. I always end up finding some creepy…
true that, their dramas even are so good and dark somehow they are able to bring out that realistic theme/ vibe with some dark twists that other asian countries dont have (like Byakuyako)

man I hated old boy so much, the acting was great, and so is the twist but it was way to twisted for my taste ( the ending theme was so sick lol)
