I think this is the first time that I watch a Japanese movie that tackles the issue of Korean mix race this way? it was sad yet true to see.. maybe after reading Pachinko it kind of hits harder lol
Love this movie, Japan always delivers. The cast did great in portraying their characters and I would say Kubota excelled! the Raw emotions, the psychological study/aspect were so beautifully done.
This movie was amazing, the end got me scratching my head a little because I didn't know why Akira did that and…
I believe in the ending it just shows he also wanted to run away from himself and his identity! given that his wife seems to be cheating on him and his in laws speak against his origins of being korean! so he used the identity of the man he was chasing.. he didnt really change it be it just shows how relieved he would be for that to happen I think
and yeah it was really frustrating, the king is just someone who is very weak and doesnt deserve the support of…
I do actually understand that, BUT to be said by them the rulers is a big no, I didnt mind it when the 2ML had a blind faith in that but not when the crown prince said it or when the king cried while that child froze to death outside its infuriating =/
what an episode.. cliff hangers are just horrible after every episode, how will episode 10 go and then the wait…
and yeah it was really frustrating, the king is just someone who is very weak and doesnt deserve the support of his people! the way they wanted the son of the crown prince while sacrificing innocent women is just horrible!
even the crown prince in episode 5 made it sound like its normal and a must that people should sacrifice themselves for the king like he is something is absurd! If a king ever thinks that he is more worthy of his people then he is a failed king ugh
yeah this is highly under rated by now .. 8.1 is way too little for this (probably will change later when it ends which is ok) but the korean rating of 5% is a crime .. its the best friday - saturday airing drama in my opinion and deserves higher viewership =(
Finally got the chance to complete this masterpiece and it didnt disappoint! yes it didnt live up to season 1 but nonetheless its been a great watch!
Episode 3 felt like season 1 in both humor and dark vibes! episode 5 was absolutely great! The whole series was well written and directed and still leaves you with heartache by the end of it lol
Personally I found season 1 to be darker, this one focused more on politics and addressing the issue more I would say!
What about other plot holes? Why did she kill so many people?
she is an evil ghost who follows the people's desire so she kills whoever they want to kill! and she wants to kill as well given that she was in control to survive and live if they find out things about her
man she is a truuuue psychopath .. even the evil ghost has emotions lol! I hope a bad ending comes her way by the ghost she created cause she deserves it big time!!
great acting by leads they had great chemistry
