its been a while since a drama pulled me in this strongly, that I kept thinking about its characters the entire…
while I wish the ending was different and they didnt go down the euthanasia line, would have been better if she actually died while they were sleeping and talking...
while everyone hated sang yeon's character I couldn't get myself to hate her, dislike maybe but the 1st half of the drama her whole trauma and actions were understandable toxic yes but we are talking about the 90's where mental health was not a thing back then. she built her life and survival around sang hak which was not healthy but her character was just.. traumatized, depressed and in so much pain the 2nd half she became spiteful yes, so when the final chapter came in I couldn't understand her much as eunjung deserved more! wish we got to see EunJung being happy and in a relationship!
EunJung has to be one of the bes written characters, she was straight, honest, clear and kind! Sang Yeon's main flow was her sharp tongue that she used to hurt the only person who truly cared for her!
in the last episode where Sang Yeon's tells EJ about when you are a kid thoughts take root in your mind or so .. that's the truest and most painful thing, I always say that what you tell a child sticks in them at least from a personal experience
The cooking aspect of the show is interesting and enjoyable, I would have liked this show more if not for the…
but the whole concept from episode one that his love was so big that it brought her back to his time from what he wrote on the book, at this point they should focus more on the romance to make us believe that it was this big lol
beautiful drama, while there are plot holes, acting was great and leads chemistry was really good!
last 2 dearhs were quite silly though.. Yan He was shot in his arm and ended up dead lets assume it was poisoned or so, but Chu Zhao's assistant? the FL was stabbed more than one times and deeper and still lived so yeah..
1st episode was cute, light hearted nothing special, leads are great and im kind of more excited for the 2nd leads! filming is kind of low budget I would say but it's good enough
i thought that since he left the kid behind he ended up getting trapped there
I thought the same too, given that he mentioned he wants to leave for his son, while the ML didnt leave the boy even though he wasn't related to him, it's like fatherhood kind of thing

can't help but think how the FL looks like wan peng and the ML a mixture of Hsu kuang han and Vannes wu
