This drama is feminist! And I loved it! I love how they redefine masculinity and femininity. The women are all strong and they don't need a man to fight for them. The men are sensitive, love to cook (the villain!) and care for the house. I loved how Nok Du's father told him he should cry if he wants to. I loved how Dong Joo didn't care if their wedding wasn't perfect while Nok Du did and she soothed him.
Almost everyone agrees that this show is a mess. Many, like me, must still enjoy watching it, even if it gets me so upset every episode. Yet the score is so high! 8.2 at the moment.
I can't understand how is it that this drama has been rated 7.8 when "Melting Me Softy" is at 8.3. Don't get me wrong I like MMS but that drama is messed up. "Flower Crew" might not please everyone but it's well done (writing, directing, acting are decent) . It has all the traits of a classical historical korean drama and I have so much fun watching it. (whereas I got upset with the writer many time while watching MMS)
After reading some comments, I understand that I'm not the only one wishing that they would be more politics involved in this drama. I guess all of us who watched Six Flying Dragons. It misses the desire for a better society that must have driven some scholars of that era? I hope that aspect will be present in following episodes. It's tiring that most historical dramas revolve around petty control and power.
This episode (the 7th ) is better and is making a lot more sense than all the previous ones, well if you forget the ending... That kiss is so unexpected and does not fit in the scene (I understand that they said that Go Mi Ran didn't want to die without having kissed someone, but what the *** !?) The first kiss of a drama is important and most of them happen ridiculously but they have to fit into the scene. Anyway, I will not give up! I still have some faith that this could eventually get better. I will do it for the actors since I like all of them.
Jang Hyuk has unreal screen presence. The dude just steals the scene every time, in every drama he appears in.…
I think Hwi is going to become Bang Won loyal subject (after Lee Soeng Gye becomes king Taejo, Bang Won will become king Taejong so that will put Hwi in the "winning" side)
This drama has so many great actor and comedians but there's something wrong in the script or directing or editing that makes an awkward result. I would say the rhythm is not right. There's a too many comedy actors : they all can be hilarious individually but together it's just too much sometimes. The first four episodes could have fit in two or three. As we say in France "je suis restée sur ma faim", I could have gotten more, I still feel "hungry" for more. It's normal to desire to watch more at the end of an episode, but here I feel like they didn't show enough... Anyway, enough with my ranting ... Hope it gets better, I really liked the concept.
Gon-san is in love with Nagi!!! He's so cute~ I hope this go nice between them, they were really cute together before Nagi got addicted. With Gon-san's love their relationship can be a beautiful one <3
I feel like she'll end up with her ex and I hate it. it might be more character development for them to end up…
I felt like you. I thought that a guy who treated her so badly didn't deserve such a nice girl. But after episode 4, I might accept it. Shinji is changing. Nagi's vacation is forcing him to change, ponder about himself, express his feelings and be more truthful . Who knows, he might become a good man.
Female protagonists with so much fire and power, now this is definitely my style. And I'd like to applaud the…
I also like the artsy feel of the filming. Just worried they don't overdo it. Until now Morgan gets most of the blurred and starkling scenes and it makes him unreal and magic. I hope they won't overuse it.
Did anyone else get a romantic vibe when Scarlett (Cha Hyun) saved/hugged Ga Kyung??? Could this be a foreshadowing…
Felt it. Ga Kyung seems to dislike men (or she's just not attracted to her husband) and she clearly didn't like seen Tammy and Morgan together (is she jealous of Morgan?). I have a feeling she loves/loved Tammy .
Really enjoyed the drama and everything but what happened to her kid in the Philippines? Dan-i’s making her…
Got a similar feeling, but she is mentioned in the last ep "If I stay in your home, what about when my daughter comes back?". I liked that Dan-i could pursue her own happiness as a woman. But they could have at least hinted some conversations to show she still carries on her role as a mother (I'm sure a kind hearted person like her did though).
