It's probably a mistake they put young in brackets next to Chu Wei Yun's character as he's never shown grown up. While the crown prince doesn't have brackets at all. The editings in mdl are done by us fans of the show after all

Looks like the directors were adamant on appeasing the audience with a happy ending, a gem slipped outta their hands. But i don't really blame them. First thing people ask before watching a drama-is it happy ending?😂

I still think the novel ending'd be more memorable. At least FJM found peace in his death, while in the drama history repeated itself and he's stuck as a baixi for yet another emperor. He's not once lived for himself and had to give his most precious person up. Yes he's alive but he can't be with her🤧
