I don't think that episode 4 overdid it, it was normal the fact that they didn't want her to go to the club since she's "old" LMAO
But I think that's enough, they should trust her by now, more than this I'll also think they're taking it too far

I have some good and bad points about this show.
The good ones are...

1. We got Choi Jin Hyuk as the ML so for me it's a enough reason to watch it since I love this actor, specially in romantic dramas
2. The story. It's kinda unique the FL's situation, so it becomes funny to watch.
3. I love shows where we laugh and all of sudden we're crying or worried about what's gonna happen next, so this show gives us all of this mixed feelings. I love it!
4. I love most of the characters so far, specially the Female lead, she's so cool.
5. I love the old lady (the older version of the FL) she's so funny to watch. also, I like her relationship with the ML

Bad points:

1. Some skipped scenes. How they suddenly jumps to a scene to another. Like the murdering scene, while they were in the library. It was kinda weird to watch.
2. The psychopath thing (AGAIN) I mean, it's easy to create a political story where there's a crazy guy who k*lls ppl without a backstory, but I'm kinda tired of seeing the same plot over and over again. I mean, the last drama I watched that the psycho had a "reason" was in Suspicious Partner. At least, there the guy had a "reason" to kill those guys, but here probably we won't get any reasons at all, it'll be just another crazy guy.

Well, for me this shows only has 2 bad point that it's worth to talk about. for now this drama deservers at least a 8.0
it may be not perfect but since I love seeing Choi as the Male Lead, I'm enjoying this show. Also, both young and old actress are amazing, I love both!

It's sure worth a try

I used to not like this actor too, the first time I saw him was in "the last empress" I remember I thought "there wasn't a more handsome man to choose for the hole as the second ML? hahahaha but seeing his character I started to liking him. Now I love this actor hahaha I basically watched all his romance drama.

really? I also watched "it's ok to not be ok" and loved everything about this show, like the OST, but in "A atypical family" I didn't like the OST at all hahahah. Idk why.
But yes, since we got a happy ending I can accept a rushed development of a character LMAO

I agreed 5/5 with all what you said. It's clearly a personal taste hitting here. While you hated the ML's mullet I loved it bc i like this kind of hair style.
I agreed with the dumb way that the ML sister has lose weight, I mean, that wasn't possible in reality, not that fast at least... But the thing that I agree with you 100% is about the ost, the worst ost ever, sometimes I felt like watching it in muted mode. The OST was absolutely terrible.
Anyway. For me this kdrama is a 9.5 since I enjoyed so much, it wasn't a waste of time for me, but as I said it's all about personal taste. I loved it, you hated it. It's funny how the same show can bring us different opinions about it hahahah
anyway good review, but I agreed with only half of it XD at least it was funny to read

please tell me that this isn't another story where the FL spends her life only around the ML....

Acabei de assistir ontem o Kdrama e sinceramente pra mim só é um 9.5 por dois detalhes. O final apressado e a OST.
O final também achei que apressaram demais, eu nem percebi os cortes no tempo de tão sem sentido que foi e os três últimos episódios para mim passaram voando, tudo aconteceu muito rápido e o próprio final me deixou cheia de dúvidas, tá certo que a gente conseguiu o que queríamos porém a maneira como isso foi executado foi bem apressada, não gostei muito não.
E a OST para mim foi horrorosa, odiei, tinha vontade de assistir o dorama no mudo as vezes, acho que a escolha de músicas e instrumentos em algumas cenas tiraram completamente a emoção delas. Então por esses dois motivos eu dou apenas 9.5.
Mas de resto para mim também foi tudo perfeito.
A atuação.
A história diferente.
O casal.
Os relacionamentos dentro da história.
Amei tudo. Queria esquecer esse Dorama para poder assistir tudo de novo.
Recomendo muito. Cada episódio era uma novidade diferente e eu sempre ficava em choque para saber o que ia acontecer em seguida.
Para mim o melhor dorama de 2024.

I agree with everything you said except for one thing, the OST hahahahaha. I hated this kdrama OST for some reason, it wasn't that emotional in some parts.
Also, I didn't like that much about how the villain mother had "developed", I think it was kinda rushed how they tried to make her look like a caring mother all of the sudden.
But everything else was perfect about this show, really well written in various aspects

Definitely a hidden gem from 2024. After so many bad shows with mediocre story and lazy plot, finally something that it's worth our time showed up. Definitely a must watch!

not exactly a miscarriage, she lost her baby due a car accident, but I don't remember exactly why the accident happened, I guess they decided to get the divorce before the baby is born, I don't remember exactly what happened, but she lost the baby due a accident, she didn't plan to lost it.

I feel the same, I loved him in my love from the other star and it's ok to not be ok but in this one I feel like this character didn't fit him at all, idk, I guess I prefer him playing as a cold guy

Hahahaha I like this actor but I still feel like he's expressionless and emotionless, I think he doesn't fit to act like an emotional guy, it really doesn't fit him in my opinion LMAOI watched the first episode and I really don't feel like watching episode two... idk probably I'm gonna skip this one too
