I think they first visit his home where dao couldn't find her soul so he suggests to visit places related to her like hospital and cemetery(where dao got hurt).... but thit's crying part is after all this and they showed it here, that might mean they actually skipped those parts..... but its sad tho, they actually started bonding when dao got hurt bcoz of the spirits coz thit doesn't know all those ghosts can physically harm dao irl and then he stops asking for talking with spirits all together
