Lol there is no comparison. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon won 4 Oscar awards and won over 40 other awards. Memories of the Sword was just weak and people only bothered to watch it because of Lee Byung Hun and Jeon Do Yeon.
I would instead recommend Red Cliff, White Vengeance and Kundo: Age of the Rampant. All very enjoyable movies.

''East of Eden'' and ''Giant'' are probably two of the best long (50 + episode) dramas out there, though the latter is far superior.
I am yet to finish this drama, but so far the 3 ahjumma's in Lee Dong Chul's life (his mother, ''second'' mother and aunt) have really pissed me off...they come across as really annoying characters. Thankfully however, Mr. Gook is there to save the day as he entertains me with his hilarious English :D
