Transgender people have spoken out and they've said they are uncomfortable the way the character's transitioning…
I see, then the concerns are totally valid but the cancel culture toxicity should not be entertained, some tweets and online posts are targeting the artists which I totally despise. I found out the production has given an explanation without further spoiling the plot. Let's see what the drama unfolds. Also, I would like to discuss/know that the character of Apo isn't actually trans, right? He is going through the procedure of sex change not because of gender affirmation or gender dysphoria but due to his genitals being mutilated, right? It is indeed complicated. But nonetheless, all the muck throwing towards the artists is just unacceptable.
No please don't just speculate about what sex reassignment surgeries must be like and then assume you're correct…
So when will you come down from your ivory tower of moral superiority complex and practice what you preach? You are telling others to not speculate while you yourself running around the whole comment section writing paragraphs after paragraphs speculating as well as cancelling other's opinion. A typical cancel culture cultist.
Am I missing something? I watched the trailer 5 times and didn't find anything transphobic at all. What is all the fuss about? Please keep the toxic cancel culture out of Thai entertainment industry. The western judgmental cabal should stop being so nosy in everything and come down from their ivory tower of moral superiority complex.
As per my understanding, the guy called Apo got her genitals mutilated and presumed dead but he survived and transitioned into a female by doing surgery. Apo decides to take revenge by changing his gender identity as well as appearance. Also I keep seeing posts claiming that Namtan is transphobic just because she probably had said something rude/funny in the past, cut that bullshit. I will personally go and bash every toxic K-cult who transitioned into Thai drama world and trying to bring their degenerate cancel culture into it.
Four episodes are done and four more to go and it is safe to say that Love Design is The G.O.A.T GL. Period it. It feels unfair to have only 8 episodes for such a great show. But on the brighter side of things, Kao has finally achieved her dream to act in a GL and redeemed herself from the horror of 'The Root' - (https://kisskh.at/66347-raak-gaew). She also was in a sapphic MV with Mai Davika (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHWovVA81uk) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0gMQnkbIok - This MV is not related to the series Love Design. It is a sapphic MV ft. Kao & Jane.

I usually don't watch Thai BL but I will give it a try :)

P.S - Kao had a ghost ship in 'Hormones' also.
