So far, I think the Korean adaption is done quite well. I would say that the major difference in the Korean and Japanese version of Liar Game is that the Korean version is more focused on the relationships/social aspect between the characters while the Japanese version really focused on the Games themselves.

If you want a more ''action-packed" Liar Game (music choices were great to incite excitement), the Japanese version would be better. If you want a more emotional/Romantic Liar Game, the Korean version is the one for you. Also, I agree that the Korean version is really high-tech/modernized ^_^, which is a nice touch in my opinion. It allows the current watchers to relate more to the show.

Title Liar Game Spoiler
The first episode was fine, I liked the approach they used to portray the Liar Game in this drama serie.
Although, I'm missing the sense of danger since it doesn't seem like that they will go into debt when then they lose. Altough, the producer lady didn't explain all the rules yet in that scene with the main character, so I guess they will probably use it as a twist in the second episode?

Is there a reason why all your comments are Spoilered tagged? Do you prefer it that way or can I just leave a comment without using the spoilertag

Yup, it's definitely worth watching. Enjoy :)
However, the story progression jumps up and down a bit. Sometimes it feels abit slow, but other times it goest incredibly fast.

Thank you! Altough, I have always thought that I was actually quite generous XD I gave only to four dramas lower than a 6. Twice a 5 and twice a 4. Although, I didn't give an 10 to any dramas yet.
Sometimes, I change a grade of an already completed drama when I finished a different one. Because sometimes dramas that seemed to be good turns out to be less good when compared to other dramas that I recently finished. So, sometimes some grades gets higher or lower XD

Okay good to know. I was expecting that 49 days would be less reliastic. As long the story is good, I will defenitely enjoy it :D

There is a little bit of romance in "Ghost". Altough, the romance is limited to: "Ohh, she likes him" and some other elements and that is about it :X
No deep complicated romance stories from what I can remember. The drama really focusses on the main story, so no worries for unnessecary side tracking to romance stories :p
Well, the Korean Drama "Ghost" is similiar to Bloody Monday. In Bloody Monday it focuses on "regular" terrorism with some hacking sequences. Ghost focusses more on Cyberterrorism and the possible consequences. I see that it's in your list, so I would definitely reccomend you to watch it.

For Liar Game, I didn't really find something similiar yet. Liar Game is one of those rare dramas that are unique in my opinion :D
You might perhaps try the Japense Dramas "The Quiz Show" / "The Quiz Show 2". They are also quite unique. Season 1 might feel a bit old fashioned compared to Season 2. If you prefer a more flashier show / current day story, I would reccomend you to start with "The Quiz Show 2" first.

I thought his hair style also looked stupid XD However, it's a funny style though :P

I actually just finished Bloody Monday. It was really good! Now I started on Bloody Monday 2 and the first/opening episode was really intense. I'm really excited on what is going to happen. I've already seen the first 2 episodes :P Probably going to watch 2 more today.

I see that you're watching many dramas at the same time :O You're able to manage to keep on track what is going on in all the dramas?

Hopefully you can start soon with the movie :D I liked it very much! Unfortenately, Fukunaga became a supporting role in the movie, less screen time for him :(
I actually liked Fukanaga immediatly when they introduced him :D He seemed to be able to rival Akiyama on the same level and he provided the nessecary comdey XD Just like you said, he added some colour to the drama.

Well, than you might also like "Coffee Prince". I'm watching it right now, and it seems to use the the same concept as "Personal Preference" I've only watched 2 episodes so far, but I think it will be good :D

Well, thats weird XD. The Drama and Anime are almost exactly the same except for the ending in which the Drama gives a better closure. If you liked the Anime, you should like the Drama. Perhaps you couldn't continue because you already knew what was going to happen? The Anime spoiled the drama, something like that?

Otherwhise, you should just try another romantic comedy, "Personal Preference" has its funny moments :)
