Started watching after seeing all the good reviews here. A slice of life drama with realistic conversations. Lots of philosophical wisdom and witty arguments from the protagonist. But just not my cup of tea.
Certainly lived up to the high expectations from Seasons 1 & 2! The ending for each story seems subtle but hit me quite hard to feel for the characters. The songs are apt and bring so much emotions. How did they find similar looking actors to play the young and old stage with such good performance? Season 4 please!
Not the usual OL drama, not the usual romance content. No heavy plots here, but the show makes you want to keep watching it. It is the first time I watch the male lead. There is so much cuteness in the couple!
Somehow you understand the revenge plot in the first episode but the gripping development makes you want to follow through right to the end. Amazing performance by the two main male leads. Like Ourobouros, it’s depressing and heart wrenching to watch the lives of the main leads ruined even though they are nearing their goal. Definitely worth watching. The rating here is way underrated IMO.
Hanzawa Naoki is more fast paced and over the top. More heartwarming moments in Roosevelt. Nevertheless if you enjoyed Hanzawa Naoki, you will like this too!
Different from other investigative dramas. Unexpected twists and unusual plots. Somehow the hitman and last story is kind of sad TT, anyone felt the same?
Oguri is such a charismatic and veteran actor who played both roles extremely well. Loved the bond between Oda and Azai. So upset at how Azai had to end his life ;( On a lighter note, love the candidness and loyalty of Shibata.
Relaxing heartwarming drama to watch after a day of work! Not to mention the mouth watering cuisine. I am not a fan of fantasy drama but still enjoyed it a lot. If only problems are solved through good food lol
love comedy with ordinary storyline. I watched this only for Tanaka Kei. Was kind of draggy towards the last few episodes, thought that it would be better if it ended with 10 episodes instead of 12.
This series is good but I prefer season 1. Somehow both series are able to make me sympathise and tear for the deceased, some even for the murderer. Looking forward to season 3.
Plot may be over the top but it does convey certain important values in life that shouldn’t be ignored. Love the cast, teared at almost every episode. So glad I watched this!
