True dat :( . There were some pictures in ep 12 ending with them holding the baby. It makes me wish they released a special ep or dvd with the all the ones they cut.

I feel the same. I was recommended this as the best BL ever. I feel lied to. Wtf did I just watch?! I finished season 1 and it was toxic and disturbing to watch. I need to go rewatch my fav show to feel better.

I agree. The plot is very illogical but people like face slapping and pretty actors. Currently there is not many competing drama airing so this seems to be doing well.

No, it's the same. The translations are better on Viki but there is no other difference from youtube. There is a rearranged version of ep 11 on youku's site but all they did was rearrange a few scenes, there are no new scenes. There is no uncut version of this show.

The scene where Yuan gives Qian the bracelet is them going for the surgery. Then it skips a year forward. They try to scare you that Qian didn't survive because you only see Yuan monologuing and not the last picture frame. Then they show Qian is alive and healthy. Happy ending.

Yes, that's right. The original novel is not BL, just friendship. This is just a bromance drama.

The drama is not at all a faithful adaptation. Not only are the characters ooc there are changes to characters, events , relationships and scenes have been mixed up between characters (almost everything). The drama's core theme is also entirely different from the core theme of the novel. I wonder if the people who say it's a faithful adaptation have read the novel?

I first watched the drama and then read the book and I ended up loving the book a lot more than the drama. I am listening to the audio drama that follows the book very closely and have fallen in love all over again. I especially loved the core theme, relationship and characters in the book. ZZS is so snarky and funny, I was surprised. I wish they had kept him the same in the drama. WKX’s revenge is way more satisfying too.
