Ep 5+6 Thoughts (long hehe): Feel free to discuss :) - Just wondering whether Chairwoman's daughter (who lives in US) is the owner of the apartments since the realty guy did say that the owner is in US. But there's not much further hints on that. A theory could be that Product's son's wife could be chairwoman's estranged daughter. Or part-timer could be n moved back from US (without mum knowing cause they're not close) but I'm not too sure on that. The drama has so far touched on almost everyone's shady backstory in MS Mart except for her (n maybe DS's dad?) - Yul's handphone (next clue ig) would/ might prob contain pics of the abuse from her father, or the other victims. Also Ah hee has a point: Yul is way too calm for seeing a dead body, which just suggests she has seen one before, maybe her mum's. - maybe related to redevelopment (via PhantomzK)
- My sus: 1) police officer, Yul's dad (realty guy). Police officer's attitude is too free for a murder case but then he might just know something or is just covering it up. Don't rly think he would kill (@dark). 2) Yul's dad is abusive (to wife n Yul).. never knew that it was 'common for brides from overseas to get beaten' tho (apparently esp vietnamese brides. That's messed up. But its def good to highlight this issue. Using apartment 408's fridge to store body (presumably prob wife's) makes sense because there's no need to have an empty apartment, with no electricity.
- I'm so glad that Yul is alive... saw her bleeding in ep 4 teaser which I'm not sure would be from where (or it could be an imagination of DS's again?) - There seems to be a lot of abusive relationships - I'm guessing the flashbacks of fish in raincoat at night with the body was just DS's imagination cause hes pretty clear
If its 2 ppl involved, it might actually be the dad and Yul. Yul might actually have known about his killer tendencies.…
Ohh about the ritualistic idea (its def a good one) but I would think that if theres a ritual, wouldn't it have started sine yrs before- like a generation kinda thing. Cause then it would have started out of nowhere. But its def a good thought. Also, how would the killer (if not nunchuks/ 5 dollar guy (which is likely not to be) know about the can of peaches? They could have used any other fruit tho.... I was thinking the same for the rest but ig they could have got it from tv? (The pantyhose n the choco pie during the 'interview). This makes the old cop more sus cause he directly saw the peaches but I wouldnt think Yul's dad knows since they kept it a secret... presumably....idk
It'll be interesting to see a guy get killed too in the drama just for a change n since women are generally not shown/ portrayed as killers / killer image (if u get what I mean) irl, it'll be a change to have a female killer. ----- - btw fun or not fun fact- I got nightmares 2x from this drama I think. It's not that scary but I think I just have a vivid imagination n wanted to keep theorizing about this. Bad idea lol. Also, thanks for theorizing with me- its been nice to have someone who likes to explore possibilities n just chat about the drama. Also, I feel like I tend to overanalayze things n get disappointed or miss the mark (I get convinced by others lol)

Well, for me I found that scene slightly 'comedic' cause like whatever he said made him look a little more sus. Like tbh if I was the detective police guy I would find DS suspicious for the same reasons. But Ig it was prob more the scene leading to his arrest. Like the part where he checked DS space n found pantyhose. Tbh ig its only slightly funny cause I think hes innocent.
Tbh... the killer be real smart to capitalize on this whole situation. U've got: 1. An incident (money forgery- 5 dollar guy happening some yrs past) n him wanting revenge 2. Using the supermarket supplies as murder weapons ( broadens the killer scope + also frames DS) 3. Shady ppl working in the supermarket itself 4. Assuming n slightly incompetent policeman/ detectives etc...

yeah but it feels like shes gonna die next ep. Like @ananna said above, its prob domestic violence (child neglect, etc) instead of serial killing, which is obv still bad. Yeah was thinking something to do with the wife (thought something might have happened to her (but then if something major happens, everyone would know- small town things).

I wouldn't say that there's gonna be more of a struggle if its a girl killer tho, there's strong females (like the part-timer portrayed) too. Guys can also be weaker.
Btw do u remember if they said what caused the death? I remember strangulation (pantyhose) but there should be something else that causes the blood.

My biggest sus is : Older policeman (w Doah) + Yul's dad (although I don't think they would eventually be shown as the killer) - but would Yul's dad kill Yul tho even tho he is def sus (via @PhantomzK below)- (she did say Dad when she died but it could be more of a scared mech). I don't think they would go under that route but I could be wrong.
Btw... what about more than one person involved in killing? (just a thought- but tbh I don't think they're going this route) - The braid girl still doesn't have any 'sus' yet

Yeah he is rly quick to judge DS (but then he doesn't like him). tbh as annoying as the detective is, it kinda showcases reality ( irl some make innocent ppl confess to things).
lol I'm halfway through ep 11 but its funny how the grandfather is mad about them lying to him when he was the one who forced TM to do so many blind dates. Then he banned them from seeing each other when they're now actually dating? (But then I can understand it- business relationships are hard with so much gossip, etc...) (not a hate comment)

same-ish. I never really feel much 'hatred' towards the villains in dramas as much as others do. Likewise, in this case, I don't 'hate' min-woo or that he didn't confess his feelings towards her in 7 yrs time (I don't think Hari confessed her feelings towards him either- but then, he was dating his gf by that time on and off+ the point u mentioned) . However, he does have a girlfriend and if he wants to chase after Hari, then thats obv not fair for his gf (or for Hari- since she's trying to let go of hers). I sense that the gf's prob gonna break up with him, if he goes further.
Im enjoying this drama so far but some things just stuck out to me: (Just my opinions, don't bash me + I know this is supposed to be a light rom-com type drama so I don't think too much of it) 1- The grandfather pushing KTM to get married + the blind dates just makes me feel uneasy (like some people don't want to get married and u should respect them- but Ik that a lot of families do pressure kids to get married esp those who are in business positions lol) 2- KTM (character wise) is sort of weird like asking someone to pay for kissing u (but I sense that he's joking around with her since he's not being a jerk about it and asking her to pay for expensive meals which it would be harder for her to afford)
For me, the 2nd couple's chemistry stands out slightly more but its prob because Im not into 'colder' characters + because the main couple haven't started dating (for real yet)- since the 2nd couple is faster :o
I felt this drama a little slow at first and a little rushed at the end. Sometimes I couldn't understand clearly the plot of the story and some loose ends were not closed. Some things were sorta unbelievable (like how YMJ's character was supposed to look entirely different with glasses on (but that's just kdrama 4 u I guess). Also, I feel like SYJ's actor's acting wasn't expressive enough but both YMJ's actresses' and ASM's actor's acting did well (given their characters). (writing their characters so its easier to understand for y'all)
(Ep 22): Felt like YMJ didn't explain clearly to SYJ properly and like they didn't even tell others about the switch- which kinda to me feels like they're lying upfront to people.
(ep 21): MY THOUGHTS Kinda thought that they would expand more on the 'aftermath' of what happens when both Yoominjae's reveal (in next eps- if they do, they rly should tho because then they can both be their 'true' selves without needing to be in another's shoes all the time). Cause usually in this type of scenario, people might get backlash for 'pretending to be someone they're not'. But I guess since we only have one eps left- that they would just leave it cause its a happy ending (most likely).
- I feel like Jiwan is prob gonna turn into a 'good person' next eps too. Also, they forgot about her lying that she was asked to be SYJ's girlfriend? (or am I just lost)
Its gonna be a lot to cram in 1 eps if they want jiwan to be 'redempted', YMJ+ SYJ to be together (most likely), reveal the 2 YMJ.
The ex boyfriend and fake best friend are jerks. They both lied about their relationship and then lied again after…

- I watched around half of s1, ep 1 before realizing Kwangsoo wasn't in it. Still good tho and rly do like Cha Tae hyun
