Recent cdrama with a simp gets lots of attention high ratings and reviews because of female audience , if you read my criticism you can see I complain about ML being a simp and plot twist being average nothing has really happened in the last couple episodes. Domestic reviews is good . both domestic and international reviews it’s better. a good drama can still be better too many needless scenes and unnecessary simping ! Deep lurk has 38 episodes all 38 episodes is a prime time drama!!

You are talking about ancient times but in today’s world especially in china all this things don’t happen anymore like women have choice and freedom to choose whatever they want, you just said in most C costume., To FL love is number 2 or 3… that brings it to why I said Chinese feminism is worst than that of western society . But in china it’s number 2 or 3 .. that’s why Chinese birth rates is declining and so many financially stable women who are lonely and single in their mid 30 To 40

Like i said I have watched recent western drama about women-hood freedom of choice not just being an housewife etc , all you mentioned is totally different from western drama to Chinese drama matters of fact Chinese own is even worst which i highlighted previously

I’m not judging the drama base the ML being a simp ,
I’m judging it base on poor plot twists, nothing has literally happened since he escaped from being banned from his family by his dad, almost 10 episodes now all with the same roller coaster needless scenes with the family, simp, plot twist etc. Do you get? The plot is average the acting is good the drama is good ! I like it as well cheers

You’re not understanding the point here Male lead or female lead harem drama it’s doesn’t matter I don’t care about that as long as the plot twist isn’t good enough it’s not good enough and too many unnecessary scenes is not needed I watch all drama blossom of adversity, are you the one with great FL with great plot twist etc facts and numbers don’t care about your opinion ,we want to enjoy good drama and we need the directors to know a good show can still be better.
Be it male or female lead I don’t care. Give us good drama cheers

Well said but the FL lead is not the only one traumatized because of her previous life the ML is also a well of their previous life, I remember the first episode the last scene they both had the same dreams of their previous lives , I specifically mentioned recent cdrama not this drama about ML giving almost everything also he had to simp for needless episodes for her to agree to marry him the drama is good but not too good it should be about 16 to 20 episodes plot twist is average but acting is good low budget but still good,

Very weird and it’s even worse than western feminism, at least in the west our FL wants to marry and have children and be happy with freedom of choice in marriage and life in our dramas but in Chinese dramas their FL don’t want to marry they just want to own a business and travel around the world shocking 😳

A good summary 👍 i stopped watching lots of western series and movies because of all these u mentioned, it brings more profit and demands but it damages the society and mindset of younger generations i began watching cdrama cause i thought none of these would be happening and to my surprise its even worse than our western series , i guess that’s why birth rate is declining in china today,
I’m saying so as a fan of proper drama with family values like blossom in adversity. great FL good plot, joy of life ,mysterious lotus casebook ,a journey to love ,etc

why do men simps a lot in recent cdrama with the lady having too many guys wanting to die for her but the ML only gets to like the FL?

I mean most recent cdrama ML can Give up almost everything for the FL but she doesn’t do the same? Can someone please enlighten me?
Also cdrama gets highly rated these days when the ML is a big simp? Why

Drama is good but not too good . Too many unnecessary scenes it should be about 16 to 20 episodes , the ratings is too high for such a predictable and boring twist, acting is good tho
