It's a snake that act more like a puppy, so it's not that scary to watch no matter what the sizes.

Either the makeup artist is really good or the director decided not to put too much makeup. But AC face really made for xanxia drama.

Why HRF has barely any scene in thd drama? Even XJ guard had more scene than HRF.

For some reason, when ML is not around, FL is capable of doing almost everything by herself. But somehow, when ML arrived, FL suddenly becoming like damsel in distress, needing ML to rescue FL.

Although the drama aired daily, but giving preview up to episode 25-26 is really frustrating when available episodes only up to 20-21.

Maybe its editing problem but why bother showing the couple trying to cross the bridge but did not show whether they manage to cross successfully or not.

actually hate it when they choose to keep the "fake" emperor a secret just to maintain the "peace" when so many people died unnecessary because of it and the impact of the secret to the surviving family members. I mean, Prince Xin won't become the villain if the fake emperor kill his mother.
But how come no one blame the empress dowager? She also at fault for the whole tragedy.

I saw the bad reviews on ORV movie, I'm kind of worried about this adaptation. Unless they have hefty big budgets for the graphics and CGI.

Why did the production company and the director still proceed with this move with that small budget? With the web novel popularity, they should be well aware that the novel readers will shred the movie to pieces if it did not follow the novel as accurately as humanly possible.
I do agree that they should start by adapting it to anime like solo leveling before proceed to live action adaptation if the anime adaptation is well receive by viewers.

The drama is quite good. A lot of funny moments. The best thing is, it's a really HE. ML friends all 3 still alive at the end of the drama. All the good guy survived.
The only slightly downside is the emperor guard didn't find his soulmate, unlike his other 3 friends but everything else is good.

At this point I've already given up hope it will be air anytime soon.

I saw the short video of this drama on YT. It looks interesting but if it has SE, I'm going to skip this. I really don't like bad/ sad ending in any drama.
