The recent 我叫刘金凤 from youku seems ok I'm waiting for it to finish so I can binge. Doesn't seem heartbreaking for now. I suggest waiting for Immortal Samsara and YGY if your waiting for sad historicals. Ygy hasn't even started and the trailer was dark and sad. Plus Xiao Zhan said the storyline hurts more than death🥲

Regardless of how popular the actors are chances are low for 2 historical dramas airing on the same date. Plus Immortal Samsara doesn't have a confirmed date yet only a temporary date
Hae soo doesn't end up with Wang so and happens to leave a misunderstanding between them. Wang so realizes that it was all a misunderstanding and goes to find hae soo. Hae soo was pregnant with his child and sick at the same time. She chose to save the baby and already passed away by the time Wang So showed up.After then one by one everyone leaves Wang So and he's the only one left in the palace. Regardless of the ending, I think the whole story in general was sad. Even the side characters. Its been a while since I've seen this drama so if anyone has something to add on feel free to.
Wuxia/Xianxia feels. Probably a kdrama invested by China. Most terms are definitely not used in Korean dramas. Interesting clothing too doesn't seem korean nor chinese. But for sure is interesting! I am in for the ride lol

August/Sep🕯 Also I thought The longest promise was kinda simillar to hyx. The Shifu/disciple relashionship. I don't know much but heard that its angsty and sad🤷♀️
