You mean the guy who walked in the crime scene to get the phone? He raped and hit girls so he probably has already done some shit. And the girl had revenge on her mind for the whole movie, she had no one to tell it if it was good or bad. So maybe that's the reason why she didn't care.

Oh and the child was unconcious during the whole fihgt right? idk if she saw anything. It has been a while for me since I last saw the movie.
