I think the one pretending to be Bai Lou is the mastermind of it all. He is an imposter and from Wei clan . He actually came to take revenge/find evidence against Miss Yang and provide justice to the one who was falsely imprisoned. In the process he actually fell in love with Shanbao. When Shanbao decided to marry Yang guy, he was poisoned by someone and that beads went missing. I guess it was this imposter who gave him the poison and took the beads with him . After knowing that Miss Yang is alive , he planned the whole scenario and now he is the only person remaining and has the support of Grandma for marrying Shanbao.
The scene where Shanbao is kneeling in the rain ,faints and Bai Lou catches her , you can see that she was slowing moving her eyes and hoping that it was her Lu Fusheng who caught her.
And yeah Grandma let the person who was recently sick to death because of going out during heavy rains be punished by kneeling down while heavy rain pours down. 5 sisters should unite atleast once and kick this old hag to the curb .
