So all those people who went missing 3 years ago, were killed & turned into drugs for these greedy geezers to use? The heck?😳🥴. That butcher who used to be an executioner was playing both sides huh? I see why he got killed.
How come ratings are dropped this much at start it was 8.4 and now 7.8 Drama is good their something wrong with…
Some people are purposely downvoting it, because either it doesn’t have romance, expecting a fast paced dark drama or they don’t want it to be higher than their cheesy cliche drama.
At this point, all those old geezer ministers/ higher authority should be jailed 🙄🙄. Like why would you want a drug for immortality? Is it because the empress somehow succeeded in getting young despite being over 60? Or they’re just plain greedy?. I really hope I’m wrong about Chen shi’s brother being heavily involved, cos I dunno how he’ll feel & how he’ll face Li Bing & the gang🫣.
I also think it is someone else's doing. And that someone else had the Court's uniform on.
Exactly, maybe it’s whoever’s working with the assassin. I remember Ali baba say someone went to the brothel in court’s uniform asking questions. Also the courtesan who was killed was also taken by someone in uniform.
Also the assassin said,’ you’re all bait’. The hell did he mean by that? I mean, if LB was somehow the cure, or the answer he wouldn’t have tried to poison him, like the way he did to his father Li Ji. Urrggh got me wracking my brains here.
Feel like they will go for Chen Shi's brother being the murderer as they are yet to show him
I feel like he’s black rashaha, the one who killed Li Ji. Man,I hope I’m wrong cos CS would be devastated if he finds out his brother is an assassin, who killed his friend’s father & killed other people🤦🏽♀️.
I think someone else intentionally opened the door to set off the trap, which killed the lady. I mean, she DID commit murder but it was to avenge her dead boyfriend. As to why she was implicated, still unknown.
The villain looks like chen shi when he took off his mask? We dont see it clearly but that's definitely chen shi…
Errrmm that’s NOT Chen shi, why would CS kill LB’s father or be evil? his brother? Highly possible. More reason why the assassin didn’t kill him, when he stood infront of LB.
GJ: I’m doing this for your own good LB: for my own good?😠… for my own good. Since that’s the case, say no more. Since the court judicial review is involved, I won’t let jinwu guards meddle in it. I don’t need your kindness. Qiu qingzhi, General Qiu…don’t ever *silence*….say we were friends again. That upright young man has become power-hungry. GJ: *looks sad*
LB: I recruited you, helped you join the army & freed you from slavery, because you had aspirations. At that time, I knew I’d die soon…I thought maybe, you could live my dream as well. I thought you could be a real hero, whose name was known to the world. But I was wrong. The moment,my father died I realized I was wrong. Friends? Where were you when my father died? Damn, this line hit me 🥺.
There is always a creepy old man lurking-around in the background, that turns out to be the main villain. I suspect…
For real, cos the way he’s been prying into mingjing hall & court judicial review is too sketchy. Also remember in ep 5, there were a group of hooded old men talking about LB.
Damn, the conversation between LB & General Jing in ep 25 made me sad. You can tell how LB has been hurting & felt betrayed by his soo called friend. I dunno why General Jing can’t tell LB the truth, instead of being vague & saying it’s for his own good 🤦🏽♀️
Can’t say for others, but I personally like it. The storyline is slow but it’s all connected by ep 23-24. You can watch the trailer,if you’re in doubt. Don’t let the ratings bother you.
