Lol yeah,apparently the anime wasn’t completed so dunno how they’ll finish it. But according to the Reuters he’ll die in the end at his wedding with the FL.

He’s actually the villain & the actor playing the character is Deng Wei who plays Cha xuo shun, he has a very scary obsession with the FL, he even drinks the poison wine the FL gives him,even tho she’s unaware it’s poisoned…as far as I know.

Guys, y’all better not jump me lol, but I think it may air between this month to latest by November. Saw it on kiss kh upcoming dramas with their thumbnail( dunno if it’s the official series thumbnail tho, hopefully not cos it looks weird lol). Reason I’m saying this is that compared to immortality, there’s nothing( not air date nor does it say upcoming)apart from the dramas thumbnail. So let’s be patient & see 😌.

I know right?🙄… it got the green light for 1st review but the second time,it didn’t. So they had to edit some of the scenes,sent it again and it got the green light. Tencent is the one acting a wimp, no wonder why there’re leaks now & then(won’t be surprised if it the production team that’s been sending the leaks to fans,cos yeah we’re all thirsty for it lol). I even saw a video of gu yun & shen yi on a horse,where gu yun had to leave shen yi to go find Chang geng(in the novel, Chang geng & his friends traveled with the mute monk & gu yun got word of it so he went back to a town he heard they were at to beat the monk lol.

Well, for one…they have to cut the episodes to 40(which they probably have). Also I wouldn’t be surprised if this has already passed review & has the license to broadcast it.I dunno why Tencent is STILL being a scaredy cat(Winner is king/ Sha po lang) has the license to broadcast,which will expire next year(if they don’t broadcast it between now to next year,the production team will have to resend it again for review). If they’re still being a wimp,they should sell all rights to nextflix or another streaming platform😒.

Okay so apparently this has already passed review & it was 45 episodes but was cut down to 40. They already have the license to broadcast the drama, it’s all up to tencent now. Mind you, the license expires next year, so if tencent doesn’t broadcast it before it expires, the production team will have to send it again for green light. Right now, it’s all in tencent hands, but they trippin so…🙄

Exactly my thoughts, even XY told CX/ZX why she loves Jing( in the novel).It’s because he also saved her, she’s closed of any emotional connection & hardened her heart but Jing slowly opened it up, because they’ve both suffered emotional trauma, it’s Jing’s courage that kept him moving & influenced her too, CX was speechless. Jing decided to not kill his brother even tho he hurt him,that doesn’t make one weak,it shows the strength one has & that’ll always put your enemy on guard & unease cos they’ll have sleepless nights thinking, when you’re going to strike & that’ll eventually give you the upper hand to oust your enemy once & for all.

Exactly, in the novel he told YY why he doesn’t hate her and why he doesn’t want his nephew to end up hating Hou(his father). The fact that he chose to let his brother & YY live doesn’t mean he’s weak, I don’t get why people can’t seem to comprehend this, but oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Just passing by to say that, this is a really good drama. Though it’s not heavily on romance(slow burn I’d say) the story itself is good. Oh, the CP fan wars(mostly from the XL shippers) gotta stop atp,cos it’s very lame 😒. I’ve read the novel like 3 times now & I understand how every character is written, so if you want the bad boy demon,great! If you prefer TSJ too,awesome! But what you’re not going to do is shove XL down others throats(oh,did I forget to mention a fictional character) just cos you like him. Those who’ve read the novel knows that TSJ ain’t no weak punk, the drama left a lot of things in the novel including their sweet moments. You think CX would’ve been able to be friends with Fenglong or even been able to successfully get the throne if it wasn’t for TSJ’s help? TSJ doesn’t care about power nor ambition, he just wants to be with XY, cos trust that if he wanted it, with his intellect & partnerships, it’d have been easy. I’m old fashioned, so I’ll choose TSJ any day,anytime & anywhere… I love men like him, how he treasures you, will do everything to protect, love & cherish you…heck I can go on & on. A lot of matured, sentimental, maybe old fashioned women will go for TSJ & I don’t blame em,I mean he fine too. Not to talk of that attractive height, sweet smile, kind eyes, pouty face & low husky voice when he talks to you( yeah I’m a sucker for that lmao 🤣). I see why XY acts pouty & spoiled when she’s with him(also in the novel) & also why she blushed so hard when TSJ asked her to marry him(my girl’s face was beet red & run into a hut cos she was soo shy, shit I’d be too lol). Being kind or loving doesn’t make you weak nor a fool, it shows of your courage & strength, cos others would’ve been engulfed in revenge & bloodthirst but TSJ showed that, you can be tortured & humiliated but STILL prove to others your strength. I get why XY fell in love with him, since she’s a pessimistic person but learned to slowly open her heart through TSJ. Patiently waiting for S2 to see how everything unfolds,cos it’s gon be a hell of a ride but it’ll be worth it 😌.

Tried watching it,but the subtitles are AI, so heads up people. Either you watch it without subs or watch it with subs but gotta rack your brain around it lol.

Okay it seems some people are new here, so I’ll repeat it again. This drama isn’t/never aired in China, internationally yes,except China. We wouldn’t have been able to see all those adorable & kiss scenes if it was aired in the mainland now,would it?🙂 heck, it would’ve been sitting pretty on the BL shelves like Immortality, WIK, Eternal faith & The story of the bat🥴.

I don’t know why, but Wu bi’s jealousy is freaking HOT!the way he stares like he’s ready to devour you 🥵. I probably would pull him in for a kiss,every time he gets jealous hehe 🤭.

Exactly, this my 4th time posting a comment on here, cos I see how toxic this section has become. There’re some historical romance dramas like this with toxic fan wars & what not,very lame. Hating on a character because you think he’s weak or he doesn’t have that bad boy look/aura gives off very much dense behavior. TSJ is very smart & cunning, he works behind the scenes. He could’ve killed TSH if he wanted, he could’ve ruined him, tortured him in the most brutal way but chose to let him live. XY only wants a man who’ll love & put her first & guess who’s doing EXACTLY just that? TSJ, dude almost died because he thought you died. She’s been in love with him since day 1,when she found out YY was pregnant,she was depressed, sick even puking blood…she was heartbroken cos that’s how much she loves him. Even XL knew XY loves Jing, why do you think he asked her in her comatose state if she’ll be angry & sad at him if Jing dies. XY told CX she’ll kill him because he killed Jing. Love doesn’t mean everything will be all peaches,without any trials or pain. In the end TSJ & XY finally found the peace they wanted together.

Lol damn these comments be wild on here😂😂. First of all, these are fictional characters REAL people are portraying, cos at the end of the day it’s just a drama. The reason why I gave this drama a chance was because of that SEXY KISS I watched between TSJ & XY on youtube( yeah that scene is edged in my mind 🫣). I don’t even like romance dramas(Princess agents is an exception,which is the only romance drama I’ve watched & now LYF being the second). If you like a specific character that’s fine, but don’t bash nor downgrade another character( nor the actor) just to please your pride. You don’t have to reply on every other comment that supports TSJ,trying to justify why XL is a better fit because YOU like him😐. I like TSJ, but you don’t see me under every comment, trying to argue why he’s the better fit now do ya? Anyhoo TSJ & XY will go through some rough patches & heartbreak,( those who’ve read the novel,knows what I’m talking about). There’s a reason why THEY are the end game.
