🤣🤣🤣 I’m already having nightmares because of this,so allow me to spread it 🤣🤣😭😭.

Anyone notice during the opening drawing scenes,there’s one with Gui Mudan wearing a mask standing infront of an ice coffin(the same coffin Fang Zhou body’s preserved in)?🤨

He misses Zhou Di Lou and wants to go back if he could.

The last scene made me laugh, A-Yan being chased by Zhumei cos he took zhumei’s herbs from the kitchen counter top.
Zhumei running after him with a ladle saying,the herbs are for soup not to feed his cursed bugs 🤣🤣,while A-Yan is shouting,’let me go feed my bugs first with this,don’t chase me’.
Then you have Fang Zhou & A-Li looking down at the spectacle going on and smiling at each other. It was soo peaceful 🥺.

I actually find his tantrum cute,heck I’d have given in if it was me 🫣.

Liu Yan being a kid on the run to getting saved by Fang Zhou hits hard. He’s been in Zhou Di Lou since he was a kid,FZ told him he’ll be his brother from now on, to him telling A-Yan that he’s good and kind,when A-Yan asked him if he’s a good person.
Memories flooding through his mind as he stare at the dilapidated place,he once called home and was happy living there. I get him,really I do cos he lost a father,brother figure,his emotional support and anchor…but his present self isn’t redeemable since innocent lives have been lost in his thirst for revenge. The manipulation & schemes have gone wayward,if he was unleashing his terror on bad people,I wouldn’t even care but this is different.
Fang Zhou wouldn’t have wanted this,that sweet little kid to a kind adult who was both mischievous & brilliant have gone dark.
It makes me wonder his childhood background and WHY,WHAT or WHOM he was running from.
Also,my bet will be that,Fang Zhou’s body isn’t where TLC told him it’d be. That’s definitely gonna piss him off the more and lose that ounce of trust he had in TLC.

Favorite scene in ep 20, is xiao shi and Tang Li ci interaction and how XS reminded TLC of his old self.
The flashback to when he was poking the kitten,curious,wondering what little fluffy creature that is,him picking it up to observe it(probably if it had any killing intent),cos all what he’s known is killing,destruction & chaos.
A-Li getting startled by Fang Zhou & dropping the kitten but FZ calmly tells him to not be scared & no one will hurt him. He even goes ahead to take TLC’s hand to pet the kitten and tell him that,the kitten likes him.
Present TLC sees the similarities between him & XS and how he needs someone who’s patient to walk him through and teach him things step by step 💜.

That’s the thing, his confidence in the one secret he’s been hiding for soo long, is gonna backfire soo bad.

Speak your truth,cos you’re not the only one here who don’t check for her character, plus on other social media platforms people are complaining about her too and are frustrated with everything,since it was promoted as a male centric drama which will also interest the men who love such genre.
But now they’ve switched the focus in a couple of episodes,which is making people lose interest.
I keep telling them to give it a couple of more episodes as that’s what I’m also doing.
Luo Yunxi is very proud of this character TLC,so I don’t want his efforts to go to waste as his character is suppose to shine and not be in a cp with anyone.

Also, the way TLC was throwing a tantrum cos he didn’t want Fang Zhou to die was such a spoiled brat move lol. Normally he’s such an obedient child but this time? He was throwing vases,candles and kicking things all cos Fang Zhou said no.
Honestly,I knew FANG Zhou will give in. He knew A-Li wanted to save him even tho it was deemed “evil”. But how can you ignore the puppy eyes & desperate please of your favorite child?🥺

I was like FUCK!!! Why mention that to him,knowing how unstable he is? TLC still has faith in A-Yan,but this faith will crush him as what he’s just revealed will hurt him soo much,he might end up in a depressed state 😭.

Also saw how people were on you and others just for voicing your dislike for the character.
It seems we can’t like a character without getting stomped on 🥴🙂‍↔️.

They’re making her seem like something she’s not.
We wouldn’t have a problem,if her character had more depth. But it’s like,even when TLC,Chi Yun & Shen L are discussing things,she HAS to be there,why tho? She’s just there and when the camera pans to her,she has no emotion 😶.
Why jump in the lake? I’m sorry but that pissed me off to the point that,I didn’t even watch some episodes and jumped straight to ep 18 and then today’s episode 19.
It’s like they just put her there to pass censorship.
That ‘she’s interesting’, ‘she’s secretive’ type of excuses others give makes me chuckle cos ain’t no damn thing interesting nor secretive about her 🥴
More reason why I’ll forever hold Mysterious lotus casebook to a higher standard.

That’s exactly the problem I have with this character. I don’t hate the actress or anything,it’s just the character is just “there” and has basically become a blood bank for TLC,without it there’s no purpose with her. If they had made her character a bit more interesting,we wouldn’t complain at all.

Apparently, it’s a huge crime if you don’t like ashui. Those who complain about her just voice their thoughts and why she doesn’t need to be in every single frame,jumping in to “save” a whole fucking OP being, sits in a conversation that has nothing to do with her like as if she’s going to fight or do some Bruce Lee moves on the villains.
When we complain,it’s a problem,you’ll see those who like her under those who don’t,arguing with them. But you’ll never catch those who don’t like her under the comments on those who like her.
I’ve seen people complain about her character on social media,it’s putting people off and I understand it.
So,if someone is frustrated with her character,just let them do that without trying to argue or gaslight them. We don’t complain about XFT,zhong chunji or miss hong. It’s because they’re doing a badass job with their characters instead of giving us the same lifeless facial expression. People cant sympathize and be compassionate with her for a reason. If she doesn’t have anything useful to do,she shouldn’t hog all the screen time and let the others shine too.
