It’s very interesting to read comments like how the show is so creepy or how Toh is a stalker that needs to get locked up somewhere, or how it’s impossible for Nuea to ever like Toh irl because Toh has a mental illness….
First of all, I think I have seen other dramas that these comments belong to more than SCOY.
People… please go back and read some of y’all comments about this series. It is Insane how most things go over some heads. Please tell me what Toh did (other than collect a few questionable things) that would make a some think that he needs to be in an institution? When we think about it, Toh saw Nuea as something far away from his reality, some one that won’t ever be in his world and someone that he did not have a right to Pursue irl. Tell me how this is different than what we do when they stan artists? We collect pictures, memorabilia, save things from concerts (confetti’s or something they touched), have pictures of them on our walls and follow their schedules to events. Now this is normal (what Toh is literally doing). Now it becomes dangerous when it’s saesang fans that are obsessed with artists and follow them to their homes, stalk them in their private lives to the point of these artists hiring bodyguards or even moving homes because the feel unsafe and scared for their lives. Now these are the ones that need help and might need to enter mental institution. (aka what KONG did to Toh on Ep. 12&13)… now that’s some next level ish*
Toh collected things that kept his good memories of Nuea and took his picture at School Events only (he never followed him or stalked him to the point of Nuea being scared for his life). On the contrary, Nuea was the one who made first contact cuz Toh was the only person that liked him but never approached him ti get what he wanted and respected his personal space and privacy.
I’m not excusing or not questioning Some of Toh’s collections like the crab, or can from trash. Nor does the series or his friends condone it. In reality, the series was showing us the insecurities of a person named Toh who, all his life, has been told by society that “you’re not good enough to dream big or to even think of liking someone like Nuea so stay in your place and don’t try to even think about being with him.” (Which is also played out by Prao, her friends and Kong- aka the society) It also showed how his friends were there to support him, scold him and come up with a plan to help him reduce his collecting habits. to and he also knows his habits are not right which was why he kept it hidden from anyone outside his friend group until ep.13. Because He knows his friend group accept and love him as he is but wasn’t sure about Nuea so Nuea actually Bearing his heart out to Toh was so important to dismantle Toh’s low self esteem. And then Nuea also accepting him for who he is is shown on Ep.14 where he organized Toh’s collections saying, “I LOVE YOU AND EVERYTHING THAT COMES WITH YOU; You show your love by these actions and I will show you my love by accepting you as you are.. from head to Toh😁”
I appreciate anyone who watches it and share their opinions, positive or negative because we all have different pov. But I just wanted to share my side.
i really can't understand how this show is praised by so many people. its a fricking cringe fiesta. dropped it…
Let me add myself to the list of people who dropped it before watching it again. Lol I think it takes about ep1,2 and Maybe 3(for some) to get used to the characters and their antics and actually start enjoying the show without thinking too much. I have not had a series I’ve been attached to like this ever. It’s definitely a unique show with its quirky habits that I could not do without any more. I’m watching a lot of BL series rn and I have not felt the excitement of waiting for it weekly like I did SCOY.
Of course it will depend on your taste and everyone’s taste is different… at least I thought I would not be this attached to the show when starting it but ended up being the best series I’ve watched in a long time… and definitely this year as well. I do hope you push in through the first few episodes to see if you like it. If not then that’s ok as well 💙

I read the synopsis on MDL before watching this Drama and I definitely was not aware of the creepy stalker shit…

Actually, Toh and his friends never invade Nuea’s privacy. Toh actually never approached Nuea in or outside of school. He only took pictures of him at school events. Yes a few things he collected were questionable but Toh never stalked him.
“Stalking is behavior wherein an individual willfully and repeatedly engages in a knowing course of harassing conduct directed at another person, which reasonably and seriously alarms, torments, or terrorizes that person."
On the contrary, Nuea is the one who reaches out to him through mutual friend because he waited for Toh to approach him but he never did. So Nuea had to find an excuse to meet Toh and the rest is history.
If you really want to see what stalking is like, check out ep.12 & 13 where Toh is stalked by Kong to the point of being uncomfortable and scared.
So I watched BillySeng, HengPrise and Saint’s reactions to ep. 14… and I have to say I got 10x emotional than watching it by myself cuz BillySeng and HengPrise were crying left and right. And Saint was So calm 😂 even during the NC scenes in ep.13 or 14, he was the only one not being shy. Over all, I think he was really proud of his babies and also the first series he ever produced. This series was such a good feel series, with deeper meanings and wonderful actors. It was definitely a success 🥰😍💙
I am so glad this was made because now we will see both BillySeng and HengPrise in War of Y with totally different characters and feel. I’m so excited for it!🥰
Same, I’ve never gone to other series that I don’t like and commented. I’ve only been active on SCOY because I love it. It’s sad how some feel the need to drag one to praise another 🤦🏾♀️ I don’t really care for negative comments, I only commented “Toh*” because OP spelled it as Tao, and was correcting it. The least people can do is know the correct name 💙
Seng is not shy at all, in real life, he absolutely dominated Billy completely. He is bold and more energetic…
I think I’ve watched every video of them on YT, IG and Tiktok. Like I need more . I’m obsessed with them at this point. Seng is such a bundle of Joy and Billly is so caring and attentive towards Seng (they both are). They just match eachother so well! 🥰😍 I have not seen a genuine CP/friends like that in BL in such a long while.

The cut version is what aired on CH3 tv channel and that’s what most platforms have been sharing (I.e dramacool) .. the Uncut version is what’s on Idol Factory YT channel so I think you’re good 😁

Someone commented a couple of days ago about this… they said the ratings were even lower than this before the series started cuz ppl, were rating 1 or 2 ⭐️ after watching the teaser … then some that just watched the 1st or 2nd Ep. And dropped it rated it lower as well. That maybe one of the reasons.

Lol I’m one of those who dropped it after the 1st ep. But then decided to hop back on after 3rd ep. Was aired and I have to say it made me so happy to the point of looking forward to Every Friday to watch it. But you’re in luck cuz all episodes are out and you don’t have to wait at all so I do hope you stick with it and you may probably be surprised by your reaction at the end of this series..
